Enjoyed a great meal here! We split the meat skewers app and the mango Takumen cream anmitsu dessert, and I got the Takumen Chicken rice bowl. I liked everything! The skewers were juicy and flavourful, and came with a side of soft-boiled eggs. The rice bowl’s presentation was really interesting; it was a deconstructed rice bowl, and all the different components were individually placed around the dish. I thought the rice bowl was a bit small for one (hungry) person though, which is why we ordered the appetizer after finishing our main dishes. The dessert was so unique! It was not overly sweet and tasted very light and refreshing. I do wish the ratio of jelly to everything else could have been a bit lower though, as towards the end, it felt like we were just eating jelly.

Unique ramen with a nice and fresh American twist. The service was fast and friendly. Appetizers are pricy for its portion but absolutely delicious. Chicken are all very tender and tasty and the super cilantro shio ramen is definitely SUPER. Excellent place, highly recommend.

Super fun Japanese ramen and rice bowl spot. Great food menu – lots of rice bowl and ramen options, also excellent wings and other apps, and desserts too. Incredible drink menu – lots of sake and natural wines, local beer, tea, everything. Recommend for a lunch with a group. Very family friendly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere! Super tasty and unique food. And cool dishware. I got the fried chicken rice bowl which was both decadent and healthy at the same time.

We had our baby shower here recently and we could not be happier. Communication with the restaurant’s manager was easy and he made personalized touches that made the event feel cozy. I had multiple people come up to me before and after the event expressing how delicious everything was, and how the staff was so friendly. Special thanks to all the staff at Takumen and thank you so much for making our baby shower so memorable!

I live in the neighborhood and this is one of the few restaurants I keep coming back to over and over again! They’re known for their ramen but their rice bowls and appetizers are also delicious. Love the seasonal specials as well!

Great food and great atmosphere. The food was good, had the cilantro chicken ramen as well as the poke, both were great. The meal is on the lighter side and left a lil room for dessert.
