My husband and I and our small dog are visiting Newport Oregon. We happened upon Zurita. It looked like a secret garden tucked up a bit higher than street level. We were welcomed with our dog to an outdoor table. The food is Spanish tapas style. We ordered the carrots (I know that sounds weird) but wow! Amazing tender slightly sweet with herbs on a whipped goat cheese. They were amazing. We also had the shrimp, the tomato and watermelon salad and the croquettes. All flavorful and delicious. Please do give this place a try. They are open for lunch and dinner. They have tables outside and inside. We will definitely come back again.

It’s evident that every plate was meticulously crafted with meticulous attention to detail. We were thoroughly impressed by the friendly and passionate service provided by the staff. Although we weren’t particularly hungry during our visit, we regretted not being able to try more of the dishes. However, it’s worth mentioning that the prices were a bit on the higher side.

Fantastic experience. We got a selection of almost every plate and shared amongst five of us. The waiter was super patient and helpful, close when needed, but never hovering – the perfect balance. We are upstairs because it was getting cool in the evening, but there was an outdoor section and garden seating. Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. Worth a stop if you are visiting the Oregon coast (which you totally should)!

Found this gem on our drive down the Oregon coast. Drove by and even from the road it looks so cute, instantly knew I wanted to try it. There’s a really cute courtyard with plants flowers and an outdoor dining area that allows dogs. The waiters were so friendly and nice and definitely went above and beyond. Tried a bunch of tapas (small plates) everything was so flavorful and delicious, the croquettes were amazing, even the bread was packed with flavor. Had lots of vegetarian options but also some meat dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. 10/10 would come here again. They also said they have live music during the summer so that would be a bonus.

A lovely, unique place. The food was great, the croquettes in particular were incredible! We were lucky enough to come when they had live music (singer and stand up bass player) and they were fabulous too and really added to the atmosphere.

Our server was efficient, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly making our dining experience enjoyable. Tapas squid was light and crispy with a tasty sauce, and the shrimps were finger licking delicious. I made a reservation for another date before I left the place. It was that good! This is a great dining addition to Newport, reflecting the area’s beauty and artistic soul.

Absolutely delicious! A very beautiful place inside and out. Parking can be tricky as it’s all on street parking. My favorite by far was the large plate of crusty lingcod with a bechamel sauce and the most amazing wilted kale, wow! Some of the most attentive and polite servers there as well. A very wonderful dining experience, highly recommended.

While the food was wonderful, I found the drinks to be very overpriced and undersized. I ordered the sangria and was pretty surprised to receive a rocks glass with a massive chunk of ice and very little wine. The drink was somewhere around $10? Unfortunately, the waitress had to come back two or three times to let us know they had sold out some of the dishes we ordered. On the bright side, the food we did receive was absolutely wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. I will probably go back, but will not be indulging in any of the drinks offered.
