I don’t go out chasing burgers but this was really close to our motel and a burger sounded great. I do know a good burger when it’s in front of me and I telling you this place is a sleeper.

Excellent food and service in a comfy local place. We ordered the BBQ burger, the black and blue burger, and tater tots. They were great. Our server, whose name I didn’t catch, was very friendly and did a great job. If I’m ever in Winterville again, I will definitely stop at Angus Grill again!

Angus Grill gives off a New York chic vibe while still feeling down home country! The food is fabulous! From their many flavorful burgers to their delicious salads, I have enjoyed it all. We have become regulars. The staff is always friendly.

Had the Patty Melt and side salad. Wanted to get onion rings… but you know… Pay melt had the egg, bacon, and to go out off Hot Honey. It was yummy.

Very good service waitress was very nice and andhad a great personality. Great food using quality cuts of meat with just the right amount of sweet and heat. Brisket was tender and juicy. Fries and tots were really seasoned well. I would invite anyone to taste the food here one of the hidden jewels in pitt county…..Angus Grill…..

It was small, and there were very few people. I remember thinking “maybe we go somewhere else”. We took a risk, and it was worth it. The food was incredible. Well made, great flavor and a pretty interesting mix of maple and mayo that was unrecognizable as either that is now one of my favorite condiments. Disclaimer, I hate mayo with a passion but loved that stuff with the sweet potato fries. Do yourself a favor and make the trip.

My wife loves the burgers and so do I. This last time I have the el Diablo chicken cheesesteak with chili cheese fries and let me tell you it was soooo good. HOTness for sure love it. Atmosphere is nice customer service on point with great attitude will be back soon.

What can I say? This is probably the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. It’s consistently in my top 3 for sure and I just keep coming back here again and again. This was even the place that I picked for my special birthday meal this year (forget fancy fare, give me a good ol’ fashioned American burger any day!). My favorite is probably the BBQ bacon Gouda burger but I’m also quite partial to the fried green tomato burger as well as the black and bleu burger. As far as sides go – their onion rings are some of the best I’ve had at a burger joint – crisp, crunchy, and a good amount served with the side portion (I feel like most places tend to be stingy with onion rings even though there is usually an up-charge). I’m not sure what special sauce they serve with the onion rings – there is definitely a plain ranch but the second sauce (maybe a bbq ranch concoction?) is out of this world! That special sauce would also be great on a burger if the Angus Grill menu-makers are out there listening 😉
