I work at “Just Food For Dogs” in the same Plaza Del Lago in Wilmette as this Rosati’s pizzeria and I can honestly say they have the best staff, they are always smiling, chatty and welcoming whenever I come in. The food has always been perfect and they always make sure to heat up the slices before packing them up. They are a great location to go for lunch since their prices are very affordable and their lunch specials never disappoint. These guys get a 10 out of 10 from me every time.

What a substantial disappointment. We typically order from Village Inn or LaRosa, but my wife decided to give this place a try due to the reputation and family history. Our pizza was so dominated by the black pepper that it was spiced with, that it was all we could taste. The composition of the pizza was certainly promising: quality looking ingredients, including black olives, green pepper, onions, and sausage and pepperoni, their classic combo. The pizza was not soggy or greasy, but the black pepper was so dominant that it was all we could taste. We ascribe this to the difficulties involved in hiring decent staff nowadays, because we certainly can’t believe that this place got famous by making pizza which is so pepper dominated. We will be taking our business back to the two businesses which have served us so well over last 27 years. We still have some left over in the fridge, and in the event anyone from Rosati’s is interested in confirming our assessment, they are welcome to contact us, and have a taste. We don’t know if this is an individual pizza franchise or a chain, so have no sense of whom to tell this to. We do know this: Life is too short to eat bad pizza.

Please get a pizza warmer. Would give you guys 5 stars if you get a pizza warmer. Lunch pizza slices would taste much better. Then the pizza dosent need to be put in the oven which dosent have the same effect.
