Stopped in while traveling through, and boy was this a fabulous surprise! Delicious food (we got the burritos), great prices, and a welcoming hometown feel. Wish we had room to sample the desserts– they looked wonderful!

Wonderful evening at Sweet Basil. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, the food was incredible and the mango margarita was numéro uno!! Will definitely return!

Unfortunately, I did not like the meal. I had shrimp scampi and the shrimp was too undercooked for my taste, almost raw, so I ended up eating just a bit of pasta alone, which had no flavor whatsoever except for the cheese on top. Considering that it was pricy as well, over $27 for this plate, this meal was a complete disaster that left me hungry that night because I could just not finish it. Perhaps you will have a better luck with other dished. And I hate leaving bad reviews but also promised to myself to always give honest feedback. So for me that was one of the worst meals in my entire life:(

The bruschetta was amazing, but the Korean rib tacos were SUPER salty. When I informed that to the waiter she just acknowledged my comment and walked away. We ended up not eating the main dish. Overall friendly staff but poor customer service.

A gem in the rough. Great food and drink, ample portions. Offers both Italian and Mexican dishes. Moderate price, prompt friendly service. Limited seating, so reservations a must. A fabulous value!

How does one give 5 stars when only having salad? My wife and I visited Sweet Basil on a Thursday evening on the way to a concert. Taking advice on their site we made a reservation even though we were arriving at 5:30. We arrived (late) to find a restaurant full of patrons with the same idea. Amazingly this restaurant filled completely right at opening and managed to serve every table and out in time for the concert. We were in and out in 45 minutes yet our meal was delicious. Despite the mad rush the service was excellent and thoughtful. I think they have handled this before. We plan a future trip specifically to dine here and have a proper experience.

The food here is top notch and the choices are enormous for such a small place. The service is fast and extremely friendly. The only downside is the restaurant decor and furnishings. Saying they are “tired” would be putting it mildly. They need some redecoration. Still….a great lunch served by nice people.

We went on a Saturday night, not very busy, had a very pleasant waitress, Julie. Drinks were good, bread was good, salad was good. The salmon was way overdone, nice portion but dry and it was the same on all three plates. We will go back to try it one more time and hopefully we will not be disappointed.

They catered a wedding….. Every Item of the main course was COLD. A Brides worst nightmare !! I felt horrible for the newlyweds. They paid a ton of money for this catering and what a waste.

Lovely little restaurant. We passed through Lyndonville in October on our way to Quebec City, and a local recommended Sweet Basil. It was surprisingly busy for a Wed. evening. We each had one of the specialty bar drinks and an appetizer – the Mediterranean olive plate and the artichoke crostinis. Everything was great. In fact, it was the best food we had on our entire trip – even better than anything we had in Quebec City. Highly recommended!
