Authentic Thai cooking. Haven’t had food this good since our trip to Thailand. The grilled squid was out of this world good! The super fresh and spicy dipping sauce made it even better. The pork necks were tender and flavorful. The Thai tea was great too. Loved the atmosphere and the service. You gotta try this place (or the original in Manhattan). Be prepared for heat, but it’s so worth it.

Had a perfect meal here tonight. Pad Thai was amazing; not overly sweet like most NYC Thai food. Also had some spicy pork as an appetizer. Will be coming back to try more ASAP.

I’m always looking for the kind of dishes I’ve seen when Anthony Bourdain visited places, but never found anything to resemble his finds until today, when my daughter introduced me to Somtum Der. OMG…right out of “No Reservations.” Yep, I was impressed to say the least, and yes, I will return.

Food was beyond amazing. I’ve walked past this place so many times it’s the best Thai food I’ve had in a while. Blows every place I’ve been to out of the water. I ordered set A lunch special, fried chicken with the spicy papaya salad and sticky rice it was AMAZING !!!!! Everything was delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Found my new lunch spot. The only thing I didn’t like was the rice was rolled up in plastic wrap. I think it could be done without the wrap and just put it in a bowl the plastic isn’t very eco friendly or necessary.

As a vegetarian, I can’t comment on how this place measures up regarding meat dishes. There were very little vegetarian options. I ended up eating fried rice and noodles which was very bland. Even the tofu is made of eggs. They were not very open to making substitutions, or making accommodations for a vegetarian. There are no vegetable spring rolls. The service is decent, but not great.

Excellent food, we visited during the week night and there was space for us to sit. The food came very quickly and the drinks (martini was good) as well. Ordered the papaya salad spicy (and it was spicy) plus regular pad Thai and a shrimp dish (non spicy) for kids. The noodles were great and we look forward to coming back here post another IKEA trip. Highly recommend !!

Have been wanting to visit the LES location for years but didn’t get a chance. Last week we passed by this Brooklyn location and went right in – we were amazed! Delicious food and authentic tastes, will definitely come back.

Food is expensive for what you get. Dishes are small, but I’d they are going for a tapas-like menu the prices shouldn’t be so high. It’s Isan, so different from what goes normally for Thai. Garden was lovely.

Sat in the garden, which was lovely. Food was reasonably good but quite spicy, as Isan Thai generally is. The downside is expense. The prices seem higher than other Thai restaurants.
