La Poblana redid their dining area! It looks great and provides a cozy, colorful atmosphere. I’m surprised that more people don’t dine in here. It is a lot nicer than Los Arcos and wayyy less crowded.

This place is great! Clearly, a lot of work was put in for custom decorations. Their menu is reasonably sized, and the a la carte menu is very affordable. The rest of the menu is a higher price, but it’s clearly with reason: seemingly everything is from scratch; from the chips and salsa, tortillas they use in dishes, down to the refried beans are clearly prepped in house as well rather than straight from a can like most places.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Rochester and the most authentic. The food is great, the atmosphere is great and the staff has always been friendly. This is the place I go to the most when I’m in Rochester. The chips come warm. The salsa that comes with the chips is very different from other places, but I really like. Since this is authentic don’t expect lots of sauce on the food.

IMHO, this restaurant has the finest Mexican food In the Rochester area. Not only is the food delightful, the staff genuinely appreciates your presence! The food is always freshly cooked, comfortably spicy for Minnesota palates, the décor is bright and festive and you always leave knowing that they are honored by your presence.

Food was great! Service was really good and personable, friendly. We were there on the 6th of May in the afternoon it was quiet and very comfortable. I should have taken pictures of the food, but I was hungry. I had the red Chile pork with Verde, rice and beans, ate 1/2 of my wife’s carne asada all excellent!
