The Porch coffee shop was incredible! The BEST lattes and coffees served by the most friendly staff. This location is top notch in every category, however, the customer service is what makes this location a you must visit!

First time dining here, the salmon was excellent, loved the little cucumbers & dill flavor on top. We also had the ribeye. It came with broccolini & fingerling potato’s, really good as well! Service was great, friendly waitress & I loved that we could still hear the live music at our table!! Would definitely go back.

The food was excellent, and we couldn’t have been happier. The dining room is casual and relaxed, but very nice. Our server, Mary Ellen, was exceptional. She was personable, knew the menu well, and seemed to appear just when we needed her. This was our first time here but we will be back.

Last night we had dinner at Ocean 7 and overall, it was very good. The staff from the hotel was very polite with a young man who greeted us at the door happily taking us to the restaurant. What made the evening was the ambiance and the Salty dogs band. As for the food, it didn’t start promising because the bread was cold and stale but moving on the appetizer and the entrees were delicious. Our food was flavorful, and the portions were more than we expected. I highly recommend leaving space for desserts. Even though the ice cream was good the key lime pie stole the show. If you’re in Cape May and looking to go on a nice date you should stop by Ocean 7.

For a ‘fancy’ dinner, my husband and I walked to Oceans 7 (same location as the former Aleathea’s Restaurant). On an off-season Thursday-night, it was quiet after the trivia ended in the bar area. We had great service and great drinks to start with (Cape May beer for my husband, a spiked blueberry lemonade for me). For food, they were very accommodating to allergies, allowing me (Celiac) to comfortably enjoy a meal of crab cakes! Best crab cakes with good seasoning. My husband enjoyed their special rack of ribs which was delicious with a surprising sauce (maybe chipotle aioli, an odd combination but tasted good).

Service and atmosphere were wonderful..loved the violin musicians!!! Food was just “ok”. Entirely not enough food for the price. Three people in our group was still actually hungry after we finished our dinner, which was just shy of $200. The taste, was ok. I suggest if portions are so small, use a smaller plate. The piece of Salmon was on 3 small pieces of asparagus. The tiny portion of fish was sitting in the middle of the plate, which was a standard plate. It allowed room for a side to accompany the fish. This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant, and assumed something would come along with it! I love the atmosphere here…so we may give it another try.

Fantastic place down in Cape May! We were big fans of the previous restaurant, but Ocean 7 is superb. The food was delicious, the ambiance was fresh and updated while still maintaining some Victorian-era charm. My favorite thing on the menu was the French onion soup. It was fabulous! The cheesesteak was also out of this world. We happened to go when there was a band playing outside, and it just elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend!

the scallops, oysters, and halibut were excellent! They were Perfectly cooked and seasoned! However, The steak was terrible. We had to send it back to the kitchen. There was a vinegar sauce that was not good on top. Also, the seafood boil was terrible, no flavor at all. Our waitress was excellent and attentive!

The best deviled eggs I’ve had in a long time. Fried oyster on top of a perfectly deviled egg with a bacon jam that is amazing. The best

I wanted to like this more than we did but sadly I cannot give this more than three stars. The service was excellent: friendly and accommodating. The cocktails were very good! Unfortunately, the food was mediocre: I ordered a very odd pretzel (picture attached) which I thought was going to be accompanied by the crab and cheese mentioned on the menu but wound up being more of a “melt”. Interesting but odd combination that ultimately was not successful. I ordered a half chicken with mashed potatoes: the potatoes were cold and the chicken wasn’t well-cooked throughout. My brother in law had ordered scallops and the temperature was not correct. My wife enjoyed her hamburger but honestly we don’t come to a place like this to have hamburgers. The ambience was nice! Perhaps they can work out the kinks … I wish them all the best!
