I was a bit disappointed with the hype. The mac n cheese was the worst i think I’ve ever had with no seasoning tasting bitter. The rolls are the same as the greasy fried dessert rolls rolled in sugar from the Chinese restaurant, just without the sugar. The collard greens were one of the best items on the menu and remind me of my grandmothers recipe- I highly recommend! Lastly the chicken was fried to perfection and well seasoned. The servers were very friendly and I appreciate that they took extra time to package our food making sure we had plates, napkins, and utensils. You won’t believe how many restaurants just don’t take the time to get that right nowadays.

Service was EXTREMELY slow! When we finally got to the window, we were surprised to see others working. The gal at the window constantly left it and instead of using her time wisely while waiting for the orders, she visited with the counter girl, ran and hugged someone who came out presumably from the kitchen, etc. We were the 4th vehicle in line and it literally was 20 min

My husband and I went to Kenny’s Thursday 4/13/23 to pick up some chicken for dinner. It was some of the best chicken that I have ever eat. The young lady at the register apologized for my wait, which was not long, for my fresh chicken. Very friendly service! I will definitely be going back and letting everyone know how good it was. I ordered drive thru. The wait time was a little long, but I think that’s because there weren’t many employees. The food was good and hot. Not the best chicken in Lynchburg, but decent for fast food. The shake machine was down, price was affordable.

I’ve lived here over 40 years and have never been to Kenny’s, so I decided to go. Not sure why people love this chicken. Seemed like old grease? Just nothing appealing about it at all. Drive thru window lady was nice.

Greens were great. Mac and cheese was like the Stouffers you get in the frozen food aisle. I definitely was expecting better. Steak and cheese was ok, definitely need more meat. I will try the chicken next time.

Stopped in for the first time today. Was greeted by the sweetest lady who described the food to me. Settled on the Kenny’s Doozy Burger, fries, and a drink. The burger was good, like homemade on a grill. The crinkle fries were amazing! The price was reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the chicken, onion rings, and more.

I really wanted to like this place because i just moves down the street and pass it every day and thought it would be convenient. Was craving a hotdog and so I stopped here finally. When i got to the drive through the lady was RUDE for absolutely no reason…….. i get working a fast food place isnt ideal but whats with the attitude at 11:30 in the morning ….. got my mac and cheese and it fits in the palm of my hand for $2. It has zero flavor and is big time overcooked. And the HOTDOG?!! Tastes like im eating wet cardboard. Its highlighter pink. Can’t even finish the hotdog or mac and cheese. I really am so disappointed, i heard this place had good food but idk what food they’re talking about i feel better about my health eating at mcdonalds.
