Big City
We made the trek to Owasso to check out Tacowasso. I was pretty satisfied. I ordered the chicken Nachos which were great, I also ordered a chicken Gringa which was amazing! My wife ordered the taco bowl, she said it was great! I will definitely be back, this is out side so if you don’t want to wait outside call ahead. It’s a safe area if you do like to be outside.

They are blocking a whole sidewalk that only has one handicap ramp. Had to pull my wheelchair bound mother up over a curb to get her into Lokal. Her only way out is over this green curb. It’s obvious that there was a lack of forethought of blocking the sidewalk area with tables, which is limiting people with disabilities to access other business in the complex.

This is absolutely the best Mexican food in owasso! The birra taco plate is to die for! They only have it Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Everyone I have recommended it to has absolutely loved it. The salsa is most excellent either green or red. Also the California burrito is excellent! I almost forgot the first thing I ever got was the keto bowl which is great if you are keto or gluten free! Love this place 7 stars

Simply amazing street taco. I’m not ordering tacos anywhere else. I love the variety of meats eleven of them. But my favorite has to bee those ice cold glass bottles the beverages come in. It really is no wonder the guy in the shop behind them get jealous they are so busy and yells because you parked in front of his store.

This was honestly the worst excuse for tacos I’ve ever ate. I have to give it one star because that’s just not how you do street tacos. It’s similar to when I make Mexican food at home. Like they tried. The first thing I tried was my gorditas and the shell, as pictured, was dry and crunchy with no real corn flavor or moistness and the meat was also flavorless. I tried adding the sauce to make it better but I used half a cup of the red “paste” to get some heat and flavor. The green sauce tastes like they puréed fresh tomatillos and lime and hoped for the best. (Hint- it didn’t work out) next I tried the tacos. You really can’t make me hate a taco.. but man I love Barbarcao and they even messed that up. Flavorless stringy meat. The shells for the taco are also pasty and obviously not homemade by any means. Which is fine, but at least get a good brand. The beans taste like they went to Sam’s and got the biggest can and crusted spoonfuls out for the side and the rice tastes like rice-a-Roni left out from the night before. (Hint: purée a tomato and use some seasonings tacowasso!) I also tried the steak and chicken, they were no better. I pictured the food because most of this you can literally taste as you read this and look at the photos. I ordered online to try for the first time and was surprised for my total to be about 10$ more than expected (online menu doesn’t accurately reflect prices) and the last picture was all I cared to finish. It’s like getting cafeteria food when your hungry and taking a few bites because it looks appetizing but realizing it isn’t worth eating. Also, the same dry chunky beans completely filled and took over the dry Gordita. that was dirty.

Decided to try this place because a lot of people were raving about how good they are. Meat was dry. I’ve never had pineapples in Tacos before. It threw the taste off. Flavorless. First and last time here. I’ll stick to my usual taco truck in Tulsa.

I am not one to typically leave reviews but I am tired of orders not being right! My bf ordered 5 street tacos chicken and cheese only and then another 5 with chicken and cilantro only. This is the 3rd time they have messed it up and put chicken, cheese, and cilantro on it. They need to read instructions otherwise take out the option to customize it on door dash if they don’t want to take the time to make it how people ask.
