Absolutely impressed by this place. Though when I walked in I believed the decor to be a little cheesy and eclectic and the nicely carved chairs to be a little too much it was definitely an amazing place. The staff was friendly and amazing. The food was absolutely perfectly prepared and was not messy like a lot of Mexican restaurants. The portion sizes were large and delicious. The time it took to actually get our food was utterly surprising. It seemed like only a few minutes. The daily specials are great, but not only did we get the Monday hard tacos to go, but we got chips to add with it. Very impressed. Thank you.

I have no clue what happened to the service. When I normally go here the service and everything is amazing. This time our server was nice but never came to check up on my girlfriend and I. We had to literally call him over to get refills for our drinks. Kept seeing our server look over at us and never come to check up on us. He wasn’t busy with any other table either. Then when we finally got the check he ended up switching our card with someone else’s. Didn’t find out about it until we got home.

Great service, even better flavorful good and the atmosphere was one of the best I’ve been in. Had an absolute great time attending a going away luncheon for a well deserved employee (Joanne) and honestly I don’t think we could have been better accommodated or serviced anywhere else. I can honestly speak highly of all Mi Cabana locations around Jacksonville. This one in particular is usually the least busiest due to it being a little further away from base. The Chorizo breakfast tacos are great and the service although sometimes may be a little backed up, is usually pretty decent! Definitely recommend.
