Found this place on yelp was looking for a quick bite to eat in the neighborhood. Place is small on a nice quiet block. They do have outside seating which we choose to sit. First and foremost no liquor license do no margaritas smh. I wasn’t aware before dining here. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and authentic. We ordered guacamole it was delicious. My favorite was the seafood tostadas yummy… i also had the short rib tacos so much flavor and they provide three with homemade corn tortillas.

Excellent local, family owned Mexican restaurant! Try the crispy cauliflower – tossed in a spicy aioli! Amazing! And, if the weather is nice, enjoy dining outdoors.

I’ve never rated any restaurant before so this place is pretty special. I was visiting my friend and he told me about this restaurant that he loves to go and visit all the time, so we go and I have the best enchilada and pork tacos I think I will ever have, everything was flavorful, whoever was serving out table was super kind, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Hope to go there again.

There are lots of choices for Mexican food, but few are as memorable as Frida’s. The restaurant is decorated with pictures of Frida and adorned with flowers. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. When it comes to the food, Frida delivers. Shoutout to the staff who is super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They’re great at making conversation and suggestions. A few standouts from the times I’ve been here are the Frida Flautas, Esquites, Short Rib Tacos, Al Pastor Tacos, and the chimichanga. My partner and I love this place and look forward to our next visit!

Tacos were OK, the chicken ones were good and the sauce on them was great, but the steak tacos were just alright. However, I can’t stress how horrible the service was enough. My dad and I waited exceptionally long for our food considering the number of people there. Our waiter was ignorant and was somehow unqualified for his job.The atmosphere was okay, not much I can say about that. Not recommended for dine-in.

Walked into this place with my bf looking to try a new spot and we weren’t disappointed! The staff are all super attentive, the food is delicious and the presentation in both the establishment and dishes are also nice. So far every meal we’ve had here( and we’ve gone maybe 5 times) does not disappoint. We’ve tried several dishes and hope to try many more soon! I would also like to add that this place allows you to bring your own alcoholic beverages which I thought is a nice touch. The food is always fresh and amazing in terms of flavor. Some dishes that I recommend are the cauliflower tacos , the esquites, fridas flautas , Al pastor tacos and the pina juice!

The service was great, the hibiscus tea beverage was tasty, all of the food was fresh and presentation was gorgeous. The maduros (sweet fried plantains) were fried to a perfect crisp on the outside and sweet and and smooth on the inside. The use of fresh mexican ingredients made all of the dishes pop as well.
