Love this place. Been going there constantly since I first tried it 8+ years ago. Now my son is obsessed with it and wants it all the time and he’s been like this since he first tried it 4+ years ago. Great food and great people. Was in there again tonight and finally decided to write a review. The woman who took our order was great and she is always kind and sweet. Very sweet and beautiful woman and amazing food, What’s better than that. Big shout out to this place and the amazing woman who’s great every time we go in there. Wish I knew her name so I could shout her out. This place is a must try!! I get either the salmon meal or the beef and chicken Katsu and both are amazing compared to other places around. My son is loves their rice and teriyaki sauce.

The food is great here. Portions are pretty big, very filling. Could even share meal with another person if you wanted too. The macaroni salad is the best ever. Every dish here is packed with great flavor. Bummer prices have gone up a few dollars but still worth it. Staff is nice, lots of seating inside and outside. I always like to order 2 scoops of macaroni and one scoop of rice with most of the meals here. Hawaiian bbq mix is great, katsu chicken is very good, curry chicken is also great. They also make some crab cream cheese ragoons that are killer. Definitely recommend Q&Q Hawaiian BBQ over any Hawaiian bbq spots in the area. Come check it out for yourself.

Top notch Hawaiian BBQ, the macaroni salad is heaven! I Usually go for the Curry Chicken or the BBQ mix;though you really can’t go wrong here! You can order for pick up, and the place does get busy during lunch and dinner hours but I’ve always had a smooth experience here. Everyone’ really friendly and the building is clean.

Went for a interview at the Ventura location the guy that interviewed me made me feel like I can’t work by telling he won’t hire me due to me having a kid because he says that he rather hire a teenager because he feels like my son will be in my way when i made it clear it wouldn’t and had arrangements for my child that is clearly a teenager!!! I would never work for this place due to the fact the manager made me feel like I can’t work due to having a child

Have passed up on this place so many times and finally went for it. Was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness and the serving portions. Crab Rangoons loaded with cream cheese (could have had more crab but they were yummy nonetheless!), curry chicken katsu was just right. The BBQ chicken was better than the BBQ beef but that didn’t suck either. Ribs were good too! Even the sides of Mac salad were tasty! Definitely going to be a repeat customer. Place was packed on a Saturday evening and food was still timely, guess I should have tried sooner!

service was ok. food was not what I expected. too much rice in the musubi and no sauce for musubi. also had kalua pork which was way too salty. I realize this dish is salty but this one was borderline unedible. guess I’ll stick to L&L until back in hawaii

Good service, very helpful. I ordered a half order which included Hawaiian BBQ chicken (meat of choice) on a bed of cabbage, a scoop of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The macaroni salad is very plain, no extra veggies, but great flavor. I actually prefer it on the plain side, so I was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was cooked perfectly. I got a side of pot stickers (6 piece) and they were so so satisfyingly Devine. Again, no extra fluff no veggie crunch, but great soft texture, thick outer layer, just what I needed. I will definitely come back.
