Such a beautiful little place that we found on the way to Mom’s house. Service was fast. Waitress is very nice. They had great homemade specials. The corned beef hash was definitely fresh and different. We enjoyed it. Had a nice big omelette with some pancakes. Everything was cooked to the liking. The chocolate milk was enjoyable and so is the unsweetened iced tea friendly atmosphere with great folks. Definitely give them a try if you’re driving through the downtown honesdale

I stopped in a little after 12:00 and the place was hopping. I got a seat at the counter and was addressed right away. Staff was extremely friendly and happy, not just with the customers but with each other. A very Happy crew. I ordered the short stack of pancakes and they were tremendous and delicious. Had to take half of my meal home there was so much.

We were immediately greeted with smiles when we walked through the door. Our waitress was very sweet and welcoming. The food was very yummy! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Perfect place to have breakfast! Will definitely be coming back and will recommend to my friends 🙂

My husband and I have been going to this site for many years. We’ve been through a lot of owners. Wishing the new owners the best of luck and hope they have many wonderful years ahead. Been there a few times already under new ownership and we love the food and service. Laina (one of the new owners – forgive me is spelling is wrong) is so friendly, humorous, and accommodating. The food was delicious! I got the breakfast combo with two eggs over easy, two pancakes, bacon and I added the breakfast potatoes on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was great, too. If you love a classic, small town diner, you’ll love this place! An oldie but a goodie.

My husband and I have been going here for many years. Today we decided to go again as we love the place but not today. We were told to sit anywhere we like so we went and sat down. We were waiting for menus. Another couple walked in and were given menus right away as we were ignored . Not long after that another couple walked in and was given menus right away as my husband and I were ignored. We ended up walking out.

We always went to Stan’s, but this weekend, our waitress took our order & never came back to us. We finally spoke to someone else & got our food. Our waitress went up to the people behind us (who ended up being her friends) and they said “oh we’re not in a hurry” the waitress laughed & started talking about us. I spoke to the manager before leaving to find out that Stan’s was sold & our waitress is the new owner as of today, July 5th 2023. She sat behind the counter as we were speaking to the manager, no apology, nothing. I am stunned. We loved Stan’s, we go every weekend for breakfast or lunch. Had she just came up to us to tell us, it will be out or we are backed up, something, but she chose to ignore us for 40 minutes & then to laugh at us to her friends. Disgusting behavior, especially for an owner. Another great place is going to fall apart.

Went for brunch with my wife. Place is clean but staff was not to friendly. No hellos no goodbye. Food was good and somewhat on the high side on price. Did not have any complaints. Overall good place to eat but not the best in beach lake pa.

I think that if you order bacon and eggs and it costs over $10 with coffee, you should get more than four half slices of bacon. Waitstaff was excellent……….. After a year I decided to give them another shot. This time I only got three slices of bacon, the potatoes are still bland and the price is now over $11. I’ll not be back,. But BTW, the waitresses are still attentive , friendly and efficient
