So glad we found this place, food and service were perfect. The owner was very friendly. We enjoyed their Turkish coffee as well as the hot tea with mint. We’re definitely be coming back.

The food portions are generous for the price and the soups that come with the entrees for lunch is so delicious. Tried the shrimp pita and the Egyptian borek, also bought some baklava and coconut delicacy that was to die for!

Had brunch here with my parents this morning. Been wanting to try this spot out for a while and we were not disappointed. It’s a lovely family-owned restaurant and you can tell they put a lot of love and care into the food and service. There is a really cool Egyptian spin on many of the specials, like adding shawarmas and falafel to traditional breakfast items. The portions were very generous, the staff was responsive and delightful, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Stopped in after another breakfast spot had a long wait. Checked on google and this spot showed up. Decided to give it a try and so glad we did! Their breakfast was Delicious. My kids had pancakes of course and they loved them. My husband had the pastrami sandwich, which came with fries. My son had the chicken salad salad sandwich from the chef special menu. My brother had their bacon, mushroom and Swiss burger. I had a breakfast platter with 2 eggs, home fries and turkey ham. The portions are generously large 🙂 The staff is friendly. The place is not big, but we didn’t wait at all this time. Will definitely return 🙂

This restaurant is located on the opposite side of the train station away from all the busy and flashy shops and restaurants. When you walk in, the decor of the place is your typical diner and really nothing to write home about. But don’t let these two factors fool you. The food really is amazing and service is top notch.

First, the food is amazing and fresh. Second, the Coconut Pancakes might be the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. Third, Rachel our server was the cherry on top. Kind, attentive, funny but not overbearing, truly and awesome spot. Thank you!!

I don’t like to give 5 stars often, but the Egyptian lentil soup earned it. Also ordered kofta and Turkish coffee that were very good.

I wish I could give them more than 5 . The place is easily noticeable from a moving car, and tyne have free parking. This family owned business is one of the best local restaurants in NJ. Their home-made food quality is on top. Tyne staff (which some of them are the owners) are absolutely awesome. Prices are reasonable. They had an outdoor seating but it was off the day I went. From tyne specials menu, I ordered the Sphinx breakfast which was very good and my wife ordered the French toast that she said was very yummy. Everything tasted fresh, clean and like homemade. Ashraf (the owner) offered me an Egyptian traditional vegan dish called koshari that tasted amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back to try more items from their menu. Thanks for tyne awesome experience.
