My girlfriend and I are enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant; it was very pleasant, warm, and enjoyable, which was shocking due to the amount of hard surfaces. Every single one of the employees were friendly and welcoming, and even though we waited almost an hour for a bar top it felt like only a handful of minutes; very cozy and enjoyable

Went with some friends on NYE and sat at the bar. The bartender was phenomenal and did a great job in educating us on different drinks while we waited for our food. Food was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone!

12/29/22 – Visiting from Washington State and found this place via Google and decide to give it a try. Started with coffees and both were so good. The coffee on the left is a Chai Tea Latte and the other was a Salted Caramel Bourbon. For lunch we had the Reuben and other is a Goat Cheese Brulee & Steak salad. My only request is you incorporate horseradish into the Reuben, it needs a kick. We will definitely go back the next time we’re in town.

A grand, grand place to go. Been here a couple of times, and there’s always something new every time we go. Every last thing has tasted delicious and the customer service is great as well. Will be returning soon.

It’s good. The Cheesesteak had a good flavor, was well seasoned. The Chicken Sandwich was messy but tasty. There was a lot more bun than chicken. We had the chocolate croissant which was unrecognizable. We also had the cinnamon roll, which was tasty but not memorable. Other chocolate croissants we have tried have had a better flaky texture and buttery taste. The boys had grilled cheese and chicken tenders. We were hoping for standard grilled cheese: white bread, American cheese, however there was a orange and white cheese. The server said it was cheddar but it tasted like an aged Colby jack or possibly cheddar with Gruyère. I should have asked before but I wish that restaurants wouldn’t try to elevate and kids grilled cheese and just left it classic. That said, it was tasty to the grownups. We will be interested to come back for supper.

Nice upscale restaurant. I would give 4-5 stars for the ambience. For an appetizer we had the Buffalo Artichoke Hearts. I liked them but my wife did not like how tangy the sauce was. I had the double cut pork chop, very good. It was served on a spiced apple chutney, I don’t like apples but it tasted like spiced apples. The smoked Mac and cheese was good. I also ordered the Coconut Brussels Sprouts. I was hoping they would have been like the roasted ones that I’ve had in three other places. They were not, the were sautéed and had a peanut butter taste. My wife had Mixerburger, it was two smashed patties and had no real flavor. We will try it one time later, after the menu changes again.

I am a food junkie and have had the pleasure of eating at a lot of really good restaurants in my life. Not only did The Mixer have the best pork chop I’ve ever had, it may be the best meal i’ve ever had! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to eat a REALLY good meal with a fantastic environment. The pricing is EXTREMELY fair! It cost around 60 bucks for my wife and I and she even had a mixed drink. I will be making this one of my regular places to eat and is worth the drive even from Nashville!

Visited The Mixer on the way through town looking for a place to eat. The service was excellent, the atmosphere suitably high end rustic and the wait not intolerable for walking in off the street. I would recommend reservations if that is your target destination. The food was a delight – a surprise, really. The pork chop was seared and cooked to perfection, sides were delicious and the staff really friendly without being annoying. Great birthday or special occasion eatery. Could go on and on, but my wife and I were surprised at how good the food was. It is not often our expectations are exceeded (we both cook). It’s aggravating to go out and dish out cash for food you can prepare better at home. This was not that. The quality of the ingredients and preparation was top quality. For us, the “joy” factor of the food was uplifting. We were elated.

Not only is the dinner amazing here, but so is the breakfast! I’ve been here a bunch of times for dinner and there’s nothing bad on their menu! For breakfast, they focus more on pastries type foods like scones, muffins, and quiches. We loved their bacon quiche with a latte and a blueberry scone. The scone isn’t overpowering with sweetness but just enough not to taste bland. And it was warm in the middle! Great coffee, great cocktails at night (The Monica is my favorite) and overall great service.
