This place is decorated very well… but beware, the prices you pay for mediocre food will be paying for the decor. We stopped for a late lunch with our family and were all disappointed in our food – my order in particular was supposed to be a brisket sandwich but the meat was roast, not brisket, heavy on the sauce.

The food, drinks and ambiance are 5-star worthy in my book! It is challenging to knock all of those things out of the park these days. The customer service was great and the outdoor patio the entire experience even better. The lasagna rolls are a must try and the espresso martini was devine!

So K’s Place looks good at first sight. However as we ordered it took a while to get some of the food and it was cold almost like it had been setting in the back for a long time. Then to make matters worse, after getting the bill I noticed they automatically make you give a 25% tip on a party with 8 or more people. Now I don’t mind giving that amount for a tip now we had 9 total people but 3 were children under 10. I would say stay away the food is not worth the cost.

My family and I decided to stop into K’s place while we were in Chanute for Memorial Day weekend, the place has beautiful decor but the issues started when we sat down, they don’t have children’s menus and the choices they have for kids is very slim. It took about an hour to finally get our food and it was cold food like it had been sitting in the back for a while before it was brought out to the table. And after the mid range service we were provided the check came to the table, and we were charged an automatic 25% gratuity for a group larger than 8 people. For reference our group had 9 people and 3 of those were under the age of 10. Let me be clear I have worked in restaurants, and fine dining, and I have no issue tipping 25% or over if the service is impeccable. Was very disappointed in this small town restaurant. Would definitely not recommend and will not be returning.

They have Italian food here! Which I must say is very close to my heart because it’s close to my taste buds! They have other varieties of food but I must Bragg highly on the Italian. Their chicken fettuccini is amazing! The staff is very friendly the food comes out fast the proportions will leave you taking something home or your stomach will be hating for overeating. Prices are fair.

My visit at K’s place was nothing but amazing, Not only does it havea fantastic atmosphere and lovely service but from the moment you step into the restaurant it feels like you have left kansas behind and step foot into a 5 star restaurant in New York. Our waitress (who I believe was the owner herself) was very accommodating and her customer service was nothing but excellent.

K’s has a wonderful atmosphere when you walk in. The huge dinning room leading back to the bar is very open and inviting. The food here is so good, all of it. Everything tastes like a family member made it for you. The drinks are great as well! When the weather is nice out they have a wonderful patio space that is great and very spacious as well. I recommend coming here with groups, a hot date, or to hang out and drink.
