All the meat is Halal! Very convenient if you’re looking for halal food in San Carlos! Great taste. But they do take a while to make the food, so not ideal if you’re in a rush.

Food was decent specially the chicken sandwich. The ribeye bites were gold too, but the seasoning was a bit too much.

This was our first time eating here. We were only customers at the time but they opened about 15 minutes prior so it was not busy at all. They have this really large tablet-like screen at the entrance where you make the order and pay. As great it is to see the pictures of items you are ordering, the human interaction is missing. Food took a little bit longer than expected but it wasn’t very late. It was brought to us by a cook. No utensils were provided. Utensils were inside as well as napkins, all self serve. The food was good. The place lacked human interaction. It’s great for take out but i would not recommend dine in.

Lots of awesome flavors. So worth it, especially because I had never tasted anything like it before. The salad was super healthy and had the coolest tangy sauce. I recommend the steak -can’t remember what it’s called. So tasty. The owners were there, and showed a lot of respect! I think that makes such a difference. Would highly recommend this place for lunch, it was served fast, or dinner take-out. Don’t miss the sign, it’s a small place. I feel dumb not noticing this place was there, so I hope people see the review!

I got the Chargrilled Minced & Kneaded and the Hummus side and spent around $35 with tax and tip.

Delicious, authentic Lebanese food. I just wish they offered a platter that included meat, hummus, baba ghanoush and bulgur instead of having to buy the baba ghanoush and bulgur as extra side dishes

Delicious food, great service, generous owner, & nice skilled chefs. I appreciated the batata (potato) sandwich so much since it’s the one and only place in the bay area I know that makes it. My friends ordered Tawook plate and heaven sandwich which were also the best we’ve ever tried. The place’s sign is a little small so one might miss it but the address is correct. Thank you, Jood, for the great experience. We’re looking forward to repeat it all.

The most tender and juicy chicken ever! This is coming from someone who will not usually choose to eat chicken. I stole a bite of tawook from my companion and Jood is now the one and only place where I will ask for chicken. The ribeye bites are also amazing, and still my #1 favorite.

The whole chicken is amazing, and every sauce is wonderful. Haven’t tried a sauce yet that I haven’t enjoyed. While all the tables inside are set for two, you can usually move a few seats and a table to accommodate four. My husband and I love Jood, and love bringing friends!
