Great little nautically themed seafood restaurant near Rapid City. There were only two employees working there, so figuring that in, service was really good. It was still courteous and relatively quick. The food was awesome – great walleye fish and chips! Surprisingly, they had a respectable drink/ cocktail menu! Try the ‘Pirate’s Wench’ cocktail, it’s delicious! This is a great place to stop!

Food was under seasoned. My group all had either the french dip or the prime combo. Choosing a side for the combos other than steak fries is frowned upon, even though all of the sides are the same price.

Party of 5. 2 of us wanted the fish and chips, but they only had enough fish for one of us….at a fish-themed restaurant. We were there at normal dinner time, so I found this unacceptable. I wanted something other than the coleslaw, but the menu said “NO EXCEPTIONS”. Um….rude? That coleslaw was AWFUL!!!! Stay far away. The fish was good though for the 3 little pieces I got. The rest of the food was ok. One person got the shrimp and said it was excellent. Service wasn’t great at all, and it was overpriced for the amount of food. It was one of the only places open later than 7 (which was a common theme on our trip) and was walking distance from our hotel, but I would have liked to try someplace else.

We went on a Monday. With the small menu the waitress (probably not from the USA) gave us misleading information. Then had the balls to take my plate while I was chewing with food still on my plate. No warning just stacked my husband’s empty appetizer plate (the misleading info.) on mine.

We paid outrageous amount of money for sub par quality food. I do not think they know what seasoning is. 7 dollars for a loaded baked potato because you can not substitute the broccoli they serve with the walleye dinner . 4.95 for literally a scoop of mashed potatoes. I paid less for fine dining at a 5 star restaurant. After getting the bill I understood why the parking lot was empty. Do not order a soda it will be flat and you still get charged for it because they have had come out many times and it’s fine.

Good beer. Don’t order the steak, corn, cold slaw, chicken. The fish was good. Over priced for a smelly, dark, dive bar pretending to be a cute restaurant. It smells like a great grandmothers house if you are feeling nostalgic. Would like my 2 hours and $200 back, but such is life. At least our server was nice. Go to the bulging bull, great food. A day later and im still upset that i didn’t walk out. A traveler’s cash should be returned. I pray you reform or close down. The wait staff has better options.

The service here was great, the bartender especially. When we asked for drink suggestions, she took the time to ask our preferences and made us drinks catered specifically to us. The food was good – we really liked the crab artichoke dip. The only reason why I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because the bathroom door doesn’t lock.

I am not sure if other people just had bad days before going here or what, but the reviews couldn’t be be further from true. The food, great. Drinks, great. Service, awesome. We just can’t figure out where these opinions come from!! If you ask my husband or any one else I am the ultimate Karen…. and I was beyond happy! I suggest going and ignoring the bad reviews. I hope you enjoy as much as we did!
