The $5.00 margaritas sign was originally brought us in. They were great. We met the owner he was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. We didn’t eat but we had some chips and salsa and they were good. Next time we are in the area I would totally eat here. The floor was sticking and your shoes made noise when walking. All and all a nice place, he said they have been open for 5 months.

A unique open concept restaurant. You walk right past the kitchen as you enter. The food was all delicious and promptly brought out. The service was a bit slow though they weren’t very busy. The lunch specials are great deals.

Food was absolutely amazing, and I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars for service. Betty was our server, and she has the warmest & friendliest personality – our entire table fell in love with her instantly!!!! Our first time in Fort Wayne, and we’re lucky to have found this gem 🙂

I guess they close at 10pm. They didn’t seem thrilled when we got there at 8pm. I’d never stay passed closing or walk in when they were about to close. The place was empty and I’m sure everyone wanted to go home, but we felt rushed and not wanted there.

I’ve tried most of the Mexican food in town. This place is by far the worst. The dips were the best part. Most items came very different than described on the menu. A couple were completely wrong. We all got our food at different times. One person, 15 minutes after everyone else. Obviously others were nearly done eating. I could be picky about other small things, but I’ll just say this: I don’t often do these reviews, so it has to be a pretty bad experience for me to do this.

This was my wife and I’s first time trying Cactis Grill and you better believe we will be back! Food is great authentic mexican. My wife got a Texas margarita and said it was awesome! Even the salsa is the perfect amount of spicy. 10/10 would recommend you try!

The menu is typical Mexican fare. Salsa was average. Atmosphere was ok. From the dining room you could see the back of the kitchen, so boxes puled up, empty CO2 tanks, etc. Not appealing to look at while eating. Tacos barely warm. I had Pollo Poblano, no beans. It came out with beans on the plate but also no Poblanos on it…you know the thing in the NAME OF IT . But it did have a big cold jalapeno pepper displayed on what appeared to be a split-open hot dog, it was so weird. When I asked about the absence of the peppers, the server said oh, they’re out of them. This would be good information before I ordered it. Lastly, the margaritas sucked as well. Are we all sure that Banditos still does not own this place because it felt like it. We won’t be back. I give this place about 4 months before it closes.
