Came in just for ice-cream, and our server was fantastic, she put up with all 5 of our jokes and knew we were just trying to good off and have ice cream only. Would ask for her again if we came in, however I was in from out of town and wanted to stop because this location was the very last place my grandfather and I ate together an talked after my Gma passed away, we sat so long we had breakfast AND lunch without leaving… then he died too so, every time I’m in York I will come back for food/dessert.

Been coming here over ten years. They definitely did an overhaul during Covid and my wife and I frequently order takeout from here. Their app is easy and contains the whole menu. Good for food and ice cream! Kids meals are a great bang for the buck.

food was pretty good but waiter was not very well, first we wanted to just order a simple grilled cheese sandwich for our grandson and were told you have to get the meal later to find out if he would of just ask someone you can just order sandwich then after meal came out never saw him again for drink refills or to see if we wanted desert [which we did) got tried of waiting so finally just had to go and pay and did not even have bill. Just not good service!!

Friendlys is so under rated. I really enjoy their food! Their broccoli cheddar soup is fantastic. Doesn’t matter the weather, if I go to Friendlys, I’m getting the soup! Service is usually great. Food is usually fresh, hot and fast! Not a fan of the sliders but that’s probably just a personal preference. Everything else has been great

First off I was met by being told they only seating at 50% capacity and they only had two server’s working. Then they served a hamburger that waitress said I could order any way I want, but the cook will only do well done. At $12 for a hamburger, you should be able to order any way you want, but not at Friendly’s. The special was with that hamburger you could get a small Sunday for $1 more. But, for $1.99 you could upgrade to a medium Sunday, which I did. Medium Sunday is one scoop of ice cream, how little of ice cream comes in a small Sunday. Never was asked if I wanted a drink refill. Never was asked if I wanted anything else. The bill was slammed down on table and I was told “pay upfront”, so that ended my meal time. Too tired to argue.

Applesauce was spilled all over (they offered to replace it but then never brought out the replacement). All the chicken tenders were overcooked including the ones on the bbq chicken super melts. I was charged for four “extra” dipping sauces (we only asked for two, but they brought out 4….and they weren’t “extra” it was the only sauce we had between all 5 of our meals including 2 chicken tender meals) They did take the sauces off the bill upon request, but it was a hassle for them to do it, and I shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. Server and staff were all very friendly and other than the overcooked tenders, the food tasted good. Place was nice and clean with the exception of the waiting benches.
