The food and service were outstanding. I had the carne guisada. I am a bit of a guisada snob because it is so good, let me tell you this one hit the mark. The beans had a smokey bacon flavor, so good. The rice was light and fluffy, the guacamole was fresh and home made. I also had the Cocina queso was great it had pico, beef, quacamole. I will definitely be going here again.

The tacos asada (Beef Fajita) with cilantro, onion on corn tortillas was delicious. For dessert, the churros served with warm Caramel and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was delightful.

Great place to eat! Absolutely loved the Tortilla Soup. We ordered a Torta, chicken enchiladas, Tortilla soup and a burrito. It was great! The churros are also very good. The first batch of red salsa was the best I’ve had in a long time reminded me of Ruthies from Lorena years ago. The second batch wasn’t as good, a little too hot.

The food was not great. We ordered fajitas and the veggies were completely raw and the meat was not very hot. We complained to the waitress. She asked if we wanted to send them back but we already waited 20 minutes to get the food and had an appointment to be at. No time for waiting. This wasnt during a busy time. It was around 1:30. An employee came out from the kitchen and got some chips out of the chip bucket. No gloves and no scoop used. Just put his hand in the bucket and grabbed some chips and proceed to eat them. A waitress wiped down several tables without rinsing the rag between tables. Once she was done wiping the tables she wiped the floor with the rag and than put the rag back on the rack where she got it from. Maybe there needs to be some training to the employees. We will not be going back. We were so hopeful this would be a good place to eat at in Robinson.

Who would have guessed there’s a Mexican restaurant with food worse than Don Carlos? That was a pretty low bar, but at least their food was edible, if bland.

Wow, what a gem! Salsa is so smooth with just the right amount of spice! And the charro beans were good enough to eat as a meal by themselves!!! Homemade tortillas… need I say more?!?! Margaritas!!!!

The restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly and the food was great! Chips and queso were really good. I also like their red salsa and the breakfast burritos were pretty big and very good! They also serve great Margaritas!

We’ve been here a few times and the staff has always been so friendly. We have really enjoyed every meals from here. Give the fajita plate a try with a cup of horchata. Grateful to have them in Robinson!
