Walked over from our hotel just to see if it was kid friendly and we ended staying and had a blast with Sophia. She was fun and chatted with my wife, mom, daughter, and I. She was super cool. She let us try some wing sauces before deciding. The wings were great. All of our food was great. It’s spread out so wasn’t crowded. Maybe not kid friendly all the time but this evening it was. We would definitely return!

While traveling, stopped to have lunch at the Cracker Barrel which was packed so found this locally owned eatery. Was not disappointed. Our server was a high school young man that was very courteous, polite and prompt. Tried the pimento cheese fritters, oh my delish. The green salad and grilled chicken avocado was also delish. Oh, and the oreo cheesecake was also the perfect end to our lunch. Oh, and offered a military discount. Highly recommend.

Came to this restaurant for lunch and dinner on multiple days during my week stay in Calera. Every meal we had was above average and staff was very friendly. Special shout out to both bar tenders for there excellent service. The atmosphere was very inviting and karaoke patrion was lively. I will definitely be back….. We came back on a Tuesday and played trivia. We didn’t win and we didn’t come in last lol. Very fun time.

My family stopped here on a road trip, and we had the best time. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. We had our dog with us, so we sat outside on their patio. They brought a water dish for the dog without being asked. The live music was better than what we’d heard at the Nashville restaurant we visited the prior evening. Pro tip: Leave room for the fried banana pudding.

How lucky were we to stop and eat here on a whim during a road trip. Katie, the owner, is a delight and her food is magical. We had the fried pickles: just the way they should be served, as spears coated with a thin and delicious batter. The collard greens are a real standout. And my mom loved her sexy BLT. The drinks were well mixed and the draft list was solid. Next time we are in the area, we are coming back to Sage!
