Dinner was delicious and was definitely professional-chef prepared. Dessert was a flop, but who can afford a full-time pastry chef on a small island? Definitely go for the main course and ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Maine classics plus some unexpected surprises! I started with a virgin Raspberry Lemon tequila smash craft cocktail. We shared delicious Pastrami seasoned smoked salmon Bao Buns with seafood salad. My husband had his favorite Halibut over pea risotto and I had the Pork ribs with Cole slaw and french fries. The ribs fell right off of the bone.I had eaten nothing but seafood for two weeks and felt the need for meat. 🙂

Excellent dinner; clam chowder delicious, clam flavor, light broth that was not thickened with flour as it is in many places. House salad mostly arugula; I don’t remember what else was in the salad but I liked it. I had a whole lobster for dinner and it was cooked just right so it was tender. Service was exceptionally friendly. Parking is on the street.

Small quaint dining room – very comfortable with nice views. BEST halibut we ever had – including the many times in Alaska. Blueberry feta pie was also awesome. Thanks Jody!!!!

Everyone else sitting in the beer garden had food but we were told that food couldn’t be ordered to take out to the picnic tables. Confusing staff rules.

Outstanding! Great choices for drinks, steam clams with onion and thyme was delicious, Stonington Lobster was tender, rib eye steak cooked a little less than requested, lamb was presented beautifully. Menu varies to keep everyone coming back. Nice grounds to stroll through after dinner. Thank You!

Max is a great chef. Was the same chef as with the previous owner. Had a great meal, cooked to perfection. Waitress was friendly and helpful. All in all, a really good dining experience.

New owners are doing a terrific job. Community is very happy to have it operating as it was when Tony owned it.

Best scallops I’ve ever had. Seasonal place, but if chef Max Mattes is cooking, a real treat.
