So glad I tried this place at least once. Very good if you’re a fellow grilled cheese lover. Also a plus that they have beer/cocktail options. Small place so you gotta scramble for seating if it’s busy! Definitely worth a try if you’re in town.

Would be nice if they specified it was only a half sandwich on toast app. $15 will get you a better sandwich elsewhere in Portland, and it will be a full sandwich. Sandwich is tasty, sure but it should have been bigger. Chips were not advertised on toast. They are so salty they are borderline inedible.

I am a 14 year old kid that loves cheese Louise every time I am in Portland i visit my favorite place. The food I get here is the best good take out or dine in food I have gotten. It makes me crave it so much! And you can not forget the splendid tomato soup it is the best soup you can get. It has a sweet flavor and unique texture to it but that’s what makes it unique. In general I just love cheese Louise. Love like cheese movies.

Their food is delicious! My dad and I stumbled upon this place while walking downtown and the name caught my eye, so we figured we’d check it out. I highly recommend the Baconator…so good!

They were getting ready to close up so we stopped in to grab a couple of sandwiches to go. They did offer gluten free bread, which was awesome! We both ordered our sandwiches with that option and they asked if it was an allergy or a preference. Once I told them that I had Celiac, they said they would grill it on paper to avoid cross contamination from the grill.
