Traditional cafe vibes with unique, well-executed eats. The omelet was light and fluffy despite being prepared with egg whites – a definite plus! The house basil was thick and herbaceous presenting a perfect compliment. On the other hand the red velvet waffle was perfect for a sweet start to the morning. The waffle could’ve been a bit crispier however the red velvet flavor was spot on. That homemade cream cheese frosting made it feel acceptable to enjoy cake for breakfast.

I used to live in the neighborhood and Bru’s was always my go-to spot for my weekend brunch outing. Having moved away to the East side of town I don’t get here as much – but when I do, I’m never disappointed. My favorite thing in the menu is their waffle (the Nashville hot chicken and waffle is enough for 2 to share). Another good dish is their truffle oil eggs avocado toast. And you can never go wrong with their cheesy stuffed hash browns!

Looking for a place to have Easter brunch i scoped out several places in Marina Del Rey. I wanted a place that had a slightly upscale food selection but also one that had some down home confort food selections. I mean i love organic stuff too but sometimes i just want some eggs and breakfast potatoes. When i read the menu at Bru’s Waffle i was hooked! It was full when i arrived but there was no line, thankfully! Nevertheless, i did end up waiting almost 5 minutes for someone to notice me standing there at the entrance & ask me how many in my party. After being sat it was another 5 minutes before I was given water and another 5 minutes or so before the server finally introduced himself. So, service was a little underwhelming; like i said, it was busy but it wasn’t overflowing. I wanted to try several things on the menu because it was such an eclectic mix of what i would consider upscale breakfast/lunch choices mixed with some familiar comforting plates. So I decided to try two things. The baked avocado egg cup is two avocado halves with eggs (over easy) and cheese served over each side (each half of the avocado got their own egg and cheese) and bacon pieces sprinkled on top..it was absolutely delicious! It’s placed under the “appetizers” ( or “beginners”) section of the menu but trust me…its a whole meal in itself! Creamy avocado, perfectly cooked eggs, and the right amount of cheese all combined to serve an absolute bomb of buttery breakfast goodness. The bacon provided the saltiness and texture to cut through all the creamy goodness. Try it! Then i ordered the Big Breakfast…and yea, it was! Eggs, potatoes w/ bell peppers, two turkey sausage patties, and a couple of strips of thick cut bacon. The potates were seasoned and delicious. My scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, bacon was deliciously thick, crunchy and baconey, and the turkey patty sausage was flavorful. Oh, i forgot to mention that it also comes with your choice of a waffle or french toast! I chose the waffle. When a restaurant knows HOW to serve an item, you know they know food. My first hint was that the syrup ramiken was HOT, and everyone knows the ONLY way to serve maple syrup with pancakes or waffles or anything…is to serve it hot! I threw a little butter on it, poured that hot maple syrup on there and was not prepared for how amazingly delicious this obviously-freshly-made waffle was! With slight hints of vanilla and cinnamon, It was a perfect mixture of dense and airy. It was absolutely tastey. I will definitely be coming back and bringing everyone i know with me! Thank you Ebru for creating such a fresh, diverse, and wonderfully tasting menu!

In for a late brunch. I had Super Green Omelet. Veggie and cheese goodness with a side of potatoes. Good coffee. Good food. Good conversation with family. Great service. Memories made. The usual limited parking in the area.

Popped in here for brunch, we got a festive (mango salsa) chicken & waffle, and a Nashville hot chicken and waffle. They let you choose white or dark meat, or both, we got dark. The chicken was really, really delicious. Sauce/toppings on both were excellent. The waffles were wonderfully soft and went well with either the savory meal or syrup. We also had a smoothie and the watermelon-lime juice. Really tasty!! Highly recommend this place for brunch. Staff were all super friendly and service was quick as well.

Food was really good! Not your average breakfast and that’s a good thing. Customer service was great, the manager checked on us frequently as well as others that work at the restaurant. Very cute establishment and pretty good seating. Nutella cappuccino was exactly what I was hoping for. Not cheap at all but most breakfast places here are similar in price. I would return for sure!

Second time on this place. If you are craving a good waffle or French toast this is the place. We came on a rainy Friday so it wasn’t crowded.
