I had a smothered deluxe meat burrito as I had heard they were really good. It did not disappoint, it was excellent and the price was really reasonable as well. Not to mention that the owner’s sister is the sweetest lady!! I forgot to mention that it also came with some delicious chips and dip!!

I was hired on to help Ben’s son as a cook. I had to quit because they told me to sample there food and I got sick. The oil they cool there tacos in is brown. The fryer is covered in brown gunk. They pre make the tacos at home and freeze them and thread the tacos with toothpicks to keep them together. After frying the tacos they reuse the tooth picks. They put all the food on the same table from beef to pork and don’t wipe down anything. They don’t want to pay me for my day shift because I have to bring in my own copy of my i.d like they can’t do it themselves. I seen families ordering at this place and felt bad for them. The owner runs his mouth about the people and talks down about them. I am not going to be picking up my check they got a free day worth of work out of me but that’s ok. All of there food is microwaved so if you want to buy brown oiled fried tacos or day old food reheated then this is your spot. They can’t find any help because of the way they run this establishment. Be warned I worked here and I’m just letting the public know.

This is my go to place for delicious Mexican food. I grew up on Villar’s so I’ve been a fan for decades. I was away for 17 years and when I moved back to town, they met my expectations. I like it all — their burritos, special Monterey, and Tacos are my favorites. They make their chips thin which I like. I bring people here a lot and my friends always enjoy the food and some come back without me. Great place. Nice people. Good food. I highly recommend it.

Thought this place always has an empty parking lot was because their sign is hard to spot. Nope. It’s because the food is AWFUL!!! No flavor, the rice was actually quinoa, the queso had no flavor, the tacos had no flavor. Sofa pop was canned and served with a glass of ice. Not worth the reasonable prices. The guacamole was brown in spots when it was delivered to our table. At least the lady serving us was cheerful and bright.

I grew up in the late 90’s and my family would always eat at El Mexico off Seneca. One day the ownership changed and my grandpa/uncle suggest we go here. They claim it’s the original owners of El Mex and that El Mex’s food has changed(it completely has not). ANYWAYS, every single time we go in there the old lady is so mean to my dad and nephews for no reason. Treats my grandpa like a king then turns around to scold my dad. I hate it there. We don’t appreciate the older waitress picking and choosing who she wants to wait on, plus she’s getting rather rude with her very snide comments to customers. After being a loyal customer since the beginning, we can try to find somewhere else that values a loyal customer.
