Don’t judge book by the cover for this place. The looks show it visibly needs some repairs and maybe a freshen up but, wow, the food flavor is sooo good! Lots of flavors and good portions. Reasonably priced as well! A good go to place for Mexican food in the area.

I visited for lunch today with my kids and their grandmother. We were able to sit out on the patio which was fairly cool for such a warm day. We had a small dog with us as well so we sat near the corner of the patio. Our sever was fast and very attentive. The food was really great! Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The one thing I didn’t love was the initial salsa was very bland but the spicy salsa was GREAT!

Before eating at Viva Villa, I was not a big Mexican food lover. BUT now…I can’t get enough. Every dish I have tried has been SO flavorable and outstanding. We moved to Mauldin a couple of months ago from Liberty. And there are a lot of restaurants out here. But this is by far my favorite. And the extremely nice wait staff is the cherry on top!

Traveling thru and found this gem. Food was absolute best that my boyfriend and I have had in very long. Mexican restaurants are always I go to. But this beats the cake. Jennifer our server was absolutely a pleasure. She even put my boyfriend on to a new dish that now is go to. Thank you guys for such great service and food. We will most definitely be back.

The food and drink was amazing! The atmosphere was a little loud, but still felt nice. All of the employees I dealt with were very nice and made sure that I had my food as quickly as possible. They worked fast and were very polite. I had a lot of fun listening to the Mariachi band too. All in all, definitely recommend Viva Villa for anyone passing through South Carolina

In town to see my son and granddaughters, Really wanted authentic Mexican can food. Low and behold. Daughter suggests this JOINT! WOW blown away by the service and the food was Damn! Fantastic was my Pollo Locco. Bang Bang with the Cadillac to set it off. Great everything. I would mention the serverS names yes multiple if they would have said them. A must try. Gracious senoritas!!!!
