I literally just left their drive-thru so I was told to pull around to the front and wait he got irritated because I ordered crunchies at the window brought me my bag out I asked if was there tartar sauce he said ugg nrolled his eyes. Restaurants think business is slow because of COVID or that’s the cause of it but is not it’s all about customer service I worked in the restaurant business for 25 years if you are not polite you will not have business if you are not friendly you will not have business I literally came inside asked for more tartar sauce in the lady said well how many do you want two or three I said I have seven pieces of fish so I need more than the two he brought me then another lady walks up and was like hello and I’m like hello and as I’m walking away with the tartar sauce they said how rude no I think it’s extremely rude that you do not put tartar sauce in the dan bag with fish you know how much I order cuz you’re the one who took my order but you bring me two tartar sauces what am I going to do with that is exactly what I asked but when I walked away they said you’re rude no you’re very rude and that’s why the Merrillville Long John silver is never busy because your employees are rude or they’re messing around and don’t listen to people’s orders correctly

No notice that can’t take bill larger than a $50 until they to window to pay. Order messed up –slaw, instead of the corn asked for. Fish , chicken, shrimp combo had only one piece of chicken, green beans on wrong combo. No crumbles.

Stopped here on a visit from Chicago. If your from Chicago you know you cant find a Long John’s! The staff was amazing! They were friendly and were genuinely happy to serve us. Gave us some great recommendations on some things that were new to the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh and sooo good! The employees definitely made our experience a great one. We will be returning!
