This place used to be a staple whenever going to North landing campground. Or on the bikes,I can only assume it is under new management. $23.50, before tip for 2 small…. Very small, plain cheeseburgers & 2 can drinks. We did not get side items. It’s a spunky, eclectic place. The young man behind the bar was attentive. He had a festive personality and tried to sweet talk us into additional items. We left a little less hungry than we were. For nostalgia, it was worth a stop for the cheeseburger. It certainly was not. It’s a far cry from the velveta smothered chunk of cow I was used to. Parting a such sweet sorrow. There’s another restaurant in the area now, which was not always the case. Yes, they have an hour wait, However if you want good food you may want to consider.

Stopped in today 9-1-23 for a large cheeseburger w/blt, a couple of pbrs and some onion rings. Food was up quick, very tasty, and the staff was friendly. A very good local grill. Will definitely be back to try the wings.

This restaurant is exactly what all American food should be! The service we got from Lara was incredible and the food was sooo delicious. My husband and I both ordered the cheeseburger all the way w/ pickles and the burger was perfect! Wasn’t a monster of a burger, it wasn’t to tall, it was great! We also ordered the fried okra, fried mushrooms and fried pickles and wow. The okra was perfectly fried so it still had a nice crunch, the pickles were incredible and the fried mushrooms were the best side dish we ordered and we will order those every time we go back. The atmosphere and signage inside the restaurant made our day better! Perfect for traveller’s and locals. So good.

Locals burger hangout for decades. Located on Princess Anne Rd in southern rural Virginia Beach. This place has been a Go-To place for great cheeseburgers while in the area. Handmade burgers with fresh locally grown produce. Cash only but has an ATM on site.

Came here on a vaca trip to VA, found this place on Google and wanted to try their burgers. Definitely one of the yummiest cheeseburger ever. Finished it completely, which is NOT normal for me 🙂

I don’t know what happened here but it isn’t the same. Still cash. Still a cool place but the prices went up and the food quality completely plummeted. Not the best burger in town anymore and after waiting nearly 30 minutes on a barely crowded day it was very disappointing.
