I ordered dinner online to be picked up at the Zebulon Rd store. I placed the order about 4:45. I got there one minute before the time given. I was told it would be a couple minutes, I said fine. Meanwhile people are picking up their orders, placing orders and leaving with their food. I tried to be patient and nice but after 25 minutes of waiting I had enough. The food I received was cold, 2 items were missing from the order. I will never spend my money in a Zaxbys restaurant again.

I ordered with the app. On the app there are 2 options curbside or walk in. I opted for curbside pickup, as drive up wasn’t available. I checked in when I parked in the only curbside spot when I arrived. I waited 20 minutes, then went inside to find my order sitting in the dining room pickup shelf. My food was cold. The team members ignored me when I tried to communicate with them. I referred to the email, and it indicated to contact the location by phone. I called several (6) times, the phone was never answered. I called the corporate office, where I was on hold for 25+ minutes, listening to “all team members are assisting other customers, please hold and next available agent will be with you shortly.” Zaxby’s customer service is atrocious!

This is a great Zaxby’s location and there are always people inside eating. The drive thru is hectic sometimes but they get you out fairly quick. There is a designated spot for online order pick ups and I have never had to wait very long if my order was not already done and on a shelf when I arrived.

If you go through the drive thru you have to wait at least 30 minutes to an hours most evenings. I’ve spent my entire lunch break waiting in the drive thru before. Then if you go insider there are maybe two people who work as the cashier’s who are genuinely nice and personable. Everyone else has attitude, rolls their eyes, and ignores people who need to have their order taken. They wait until last minute to stock their drink machines and sometimes they just don’t stock them at all. The food is almost always disappointing and just not worth the money you have to pay for it or the time you have to wait for it. Then lastly, the thing that made me stop eating here…only a month or so ago I got a drink from there only to find a small roach in the ice. I can look past a lot of things, but there’s no excuse to have roaches, rodents, or pests of any kind in an eating establishment. This place definitely needs new management or something, because everyone knows it’s going downhill FAST.

Not much to say when a fast food restaurant starts cutting things out of their menu. Food is ok. Almost as good as it should be. Miss the multiple items that Zaxby’s no longer offers. Also, McDonalds has the ” our shake machine is down” all wrapped up.

One of the very best Zaxbys I’ve ever experienced and I travel extensively for work between Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. I’ll put this Zaxbys up against any of them. They have a pleasant staff, shout out to Zara. The manager is super sweet. The food and service is consistently great.
