The setting here is great. The evening we were here they had live music that really added to the experience. We had a jalapeño margarita which was good and the beer was ice cold. My wife had the salmon plate which she really enjoyed and my Nashville hot chicken sandwich was excellent, the only complaint that I had is the service was not top notch. It was not terrible, but could have been better. Overall, it is a great venue and I am sure we will be back.

The wife, daughter, and I went here on a Thursday so our daughter could play at the park, got right in to a table, beautiful weather patio seating with a great view that we could watch her at the park while relaxing at the public house. our waitress was wonderful and attentive, and the food… was amazing (see pics)

Such a great open air bar/grill to go to during the summer. The restaurant itself is really swanky and the staff is also really cool there. I ordered their portabella burger and I thought it tasted great! Their fries were great too!

We rented a room for my daughters birthday party in April. It was for 50 people but the room was very spacey. We had to order catering per there rules. The food was decent. We ordered mac n cheese and chicken fingers. The host was very kind and helpful. The overall building was nice and clean. And there were bathrooms for guests. I would definitely rent from them again.

I had the creamy chicken pasta and it was really good. I wish it came with a piece of bread. The Philly was good but they should add peppers. They give a generous serving of fries and they are very fresh. They have a blueberry drink that tastes amazing!! The service was great and it has a great view of the park of course. Only negative is it’s cold outside and the air was on.

I love coming here, it’s a wonderful area period. Located in the heart of south bend and adjacent to the river , Howard park offers us it’s Public house. Full of innovative meals that I’m sure there is something for everyone. I love how they burn the south bend logo on the buns I think that’s neat and gives it that signature look

I was really excited to try this place out because they state on the website that they have a better burger then Gordon Ramsey! What a joke! I would have rather had a Big Mac or whopper and saved $10. I don’t think they have ever been to a Gordon Ramsey burger bar! The burger wasn’t over cooked but was extremely dry and the fries were luke warm and didn’t taste fresh. Which when I walked by the kitchen it made sense since they just had a large bowl full of fries and tots that they would just throw on a plate when an order came in instead of making them fresh. The service was even worse then the food! They were all very inattentive and I had to flag someone down and ask any time I needed anything. I travel a lot for work and like to support local restaurants but unfortunately this place doesn’t deserve your money. Don’t waste your money or time at this place.
