A short 45 minute drive from downtown Phoenix, nestled within the Stagecoach Village plaza in Cave Creek, The Village Coffee Shop has the best crepes in the valley. The coffee is locally roasted (Roastery of Cave Creek -ROC²) and on par with top coffee shops and everything is reasonably priced for the quality you get. The menu is quite large and caters to every taste bud with 22 sweet and 14 savory crepe options. The decor is comfy and Parisian inspired with a chandelier, colorful murals, and Audrey Hepburn photos as you’re serenaded by artists like Norah Jones. It’s a nice little culinary experience and quick escape from the bustle. Go treat yourself! You won’t regret it.

Dang they jacked up their prices from when I last saw the menu by 4$ or so. They also changed menu items.. smoked Turkey became chicken, but not deli slices anymore just little chunks.

We have been here a few times. The food is good. The prices are a little steep for just a crepe. I have never had crepes before I went to this place. I couldn’t tell a bad one from a good one. The place is clean and neat and like I stated the crepes are good, just not big value for your buck.

Honestly if you like the taste of smooth coffee, this place is not it. This blend is shockingly sour as if it’s doused in orange bitters. The syrups tasted strange and neither mine nor my boyfriend’s drink were drinkable. I spit it out. I gave it 2 stars because the environment was nice and the presentation was good, but for good coffee, NOPE.

This is a hidden gem in the Carefree/Cave Creek area. Located away from the main street in a shopping area, it provides plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The menu is comprehensive and full of French delicacies. It was a little busy when we visited with a large party occupying most of the indoor seating area. Despite that the service was prompt and courteous. Coffee cups were large like soup cups.

Shared a “Triple Threat” crepe earlier today with my wife. Crepe was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was attentive and smiling. Just a wonderful place to frequent. A hidden gem. You will not be disappointed if you give it a try.
