I have never had better Mexican food in all of Idaho. If you are looking for the best, you need to try this place. They take such pride in their home-developed recipes that if what you ordered doesn’t meet their expectations, they won’t serve it to you. It’s an amazing place.

We came for the buffet, and it was delicious—a wide variety of moles and verdes to fill your choice of corn or flour taco shells. Beans and rice alone were cooked to perfection. Service was attentive, and they truly care about you having a satisfying meal. There is quality and value here in the form of beautiful, artisan Mexican food.

Absolutely fantastic authentic Mexican cuisine! I can’t think of enough nice things to say about this restaurant. The origin of this family establishment is as rich and loving as the prepared meals. When you go here you’re not just a customer, you’re family. The chicken I had was perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of spices. I find most times many places over spice their foods not so much with heat just with too many flavors going on. La Plaza is a definite go to for a perfect combination of a true family run restaurant and great food!

This place is a must!! It is a block off the Main Street. The food was authentic, not your typical, run of the mill Mexican Restaurant. The owners were great. Everything is scratched made by the wife with wonderful flavor. Hands down the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever been to.

The service was outstanding! The food was good as well. I personally would use a different seasoning but the service outweighed the preference in my personal taste. For first time impressions, the waitress was amazing and was able to tell me a little bit about the area too. Not rude at all.
