The restaurant is fantastic. The atmosphere, service, outdoor seating, and the view are excellent. The waiter did a great job describing the menu. He took his time with everything and answered every question with detailed responses. I’ve been to numerous countries, and the quality of food and preparation was just fantastic at this restaurant. If you’re cultured and love this style of food, you will love this restaurant. Start with the sangria with great taste. The sweet and sour pork was amazing, well seasoned, great mix with the sauce and the rice, and the chicken Satay is a great dish to try as well. I loved the Wagyu beef and the whole fish I would highly recommend getting either one. If you are coming here and looking for a big meal to indulge in, then this place isn’t for you because this place isn’t meant for big dinners and oversized portions of food. Great restaurant; try this place, enjoy the view outside with friends or loved ones, and soak in a great experience. I will be going back to the restaurant. It has my recommendation

It was such a pleasant experience. Chicken satay was very soft with full of herb touched. Sweet and sour pork was savory. Kids loved crispy part of seafood mixed noodle. Food overall not sweet or salty at all. I felt all the plates were boosting of natural flavor without using much chemical seasonings. I will be back to experience other dishes soon.

Just celebrated my birthday with my family. They were able to accommodate our large ish party fairly last minute but also a weekday. We all enjoyed the food. I have to concur with one of the previous reviews mentioning it being bland. There was flavor but no where near as potent as in Singapore or other countries I’ve had laksa. The portions are smaller ish and a little pricey but it’s also an upscale atmosphere. They also provide a box with a fancy cloth bib and rubber gloves to eat the chili crab with which is awesome. The service was probably the most impressive part. Very professional and friendly. Our server was Nathaniel who was very knowledgeable of the menu and reciting the restaurant week tasting menu. And it was nice they wrote me a birthday card and gave ube cake with ice cream. It was a very pleasant birthday dinner celebration so thanks!

Some people said it is not authentic Singaporean food, but I think this is a pretty good southeastern Asian fusion. I recommend the spicy crab as entree. It’s fresh with little bit sweet and spicy sauce. The decorations in the restaurant is elegant, and u can see the merlion outdoor. The portion of entree is enough but the appetizer is small. Overall I think the service and food is good here

Expecting a spicier experience. Most of the dishes had a sweeter sauce than I prefer. The two most expensive items we ordered were fairly lackluster ( whole fish, chili crab). Small plates add up pretty quickly. The place has a nice modern vibe.

A bit hard to find, located next to the cmx movie theater. Went for lunch, not having Singaporean food wasn’t sure what to expect from all the negative reviews. The interior is beautiful and the service and food was great. Started off with a ‘carrot cake’ which was neither cake or carrots but instead a very flavorful dish if daikon cooked and charred as well as fresh ones. We also had the fried fish and wok fried noodles. Really wanted to try the snow crab but it was a bit too much work for lunch. I did ask several times if they could crack the snow crab legs for us with an extra cost but they could not accommodate. Otherwise excellent for lunch and may try again for dinner.

Excellent service and food. Dishes were authentic. We really enjoyed the chicken satay. Persia did an outstanding job serving us. They went above and beyond with the food for the kids. Highly recommended!

Really good food. It’s done ‘tapas’ style. So lots of small plates. Great for sharing and trying lots of things on the menu. Everything we had was great. The service was also very good with knowledgeable staff.

Go for the Dungeness chili crab – a bit fancier than the outdoor markets in Singapore but as full of spicy flavor that in a mysterious way allows the crab to shine. Delicious. They had stingray as well prepared with sweet soy and lime. (skate on menu).

Really delicious food. Went for the first time during restaurant week and got the lunch special (nasi padang) and the 8-course tasting menu. Would definitely recommend and go back again!
