The food is overpriced for the quality and taste. The chef was great. He tried. The waitresses are unfriendly and very concerned with making sure we understood if we ordered an extra mini bowl of rice it would be charged at $3.00.

Went with my wife for our anniversary. It was a lot of fun. The chef was entertaining and the food was very good. I had the steak and scallops. The steak was tender and flavorful. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken and shrimp. She loved it all. We will go back.

Tokyo Steakhouse is always a treat for date night when I’m in Ankeny Iowa with my fiancé. The food is always top quality and the service is always prompt and friendly. A great selection of foods, from hibachi grill to beautifully made sushi and rolls. A fine selection of cocktails and drinks that go really well with the fine food. The price is a little higher than some restaurants, but you notice where that little extra goes with the quality of the food prepared. Myself and my fiance always make this a regular date location, and we’ll definitely keep coming back time and time again in the future.

Honestly it was great I loved it. Good food. But the there was a lady. I don’t know her name but she was really rude. We had a party of 8 and 4 of them wanted habachi and the rest of us ate sushi. she was like “why are you sitting here if you don’t want habachi?” Rudely like we want to sit with our group? She slammed the drinks down and was generally really rude and mildly aggressive. Everyone was in a great mood expect her.
