The food was very good! It was made fresh when ordered. The lady that took our order was friendly. It is a little on the pricy end. The cheeseburger and fries were tasty. They give you a lot fries so you can definitely split an order of them which saves a little money. We sit outside since it was a nice day. This was my first time trying a Five Guys. It is kind of fun that you can get peanuts to snack on while you wait for your food to come out.

The milkshake we had was okay. I had heard it is one of the best, but I don’t think so. They had only two people doing everything, which made the service very slow. The place was extremely cold. We chose to sit outside, even when it was almost 100 degrees.

Good location, with fresh made to order cheeseburgers and fries! It’s still not quite as good as the Peoria or Champaign locations which makes paying the higher prices they charge a bit harder to swallow. We enjoyed those other locations before this one was added in Normal, but it hasn’t been quite as good for some reason. Hope it continues to get better, but sure wasn’t very busy today.

Ordered here today for the first time. Bland tasteless boring beef. “Grilled mushrooms” ha! The mushrooms looked more like they were dumped out of a jar and put in the microwave instead of freshly cut and grilled. I just assumed with the higher prices and wait time that the ingredients were fresh and good quality not from a can or jar. Ha. Silly me. The fries were horrible. The initial bite was boring with a hint of salt but the after taste reminded me of soap. $20 plus tip down the drain. Mcdonalds and hardees have better tasting burgers and fries for half the price and wait time. The best part of 5 guys was the drink kiosk. If u like bland overpriced burgers and soapy aftertaste fries then 5 guys does it right. My dogs liked it tho. With such a small menu you’d think they’d nail the staple American burger and fries. Won’t be returning.
