I stopped for the first time today, 6/3/23, at the Indus on Figueroa and 7th to order something to take to my hotel in Downtown LA. The food is very healthy and tasty and the young lady at the register was very nice and friendly.

Trying to eat here is like playing whack a mole. Will a pandemic shut them down? Are their hours accurate? I’m here now, fresh ice melting in the cooler and CLOSED. forget about parking. I don’t know why I go out of my way trying to come here anymore

A no frills, cheap yet delicious takeout place. I had rice, dal, palak paneer and a naan, all for $12! Can’t believe i could get all of this for so less in LA. I had to wait for about 10 minutes after placing the order. There’s plenty of space both indoor and outdoor the food court to sit down and eat. Would definitely come again and would recommend this to everyone!

Not spicy at all, fresh and warm with good taste, I ordered the combo with yellow daal, channa masala and rice, quantity sufficient for one! You have to order naan or salad separately

It was so good. Chicken and veggie options all tasty with curry sauces. Mango smoothie to cool down all the spices.

Amazing food! I didn’t have a favorite dish because everything we got was delicious. Butter chicken is amazing and their naan is perfectly doughy and crispy at the same time. Go for the rosemary naan! Best samosa I have ever had. Both are great.

I’m a super huge fan of this place. The first time I had it was at their Beverly Hills location, but I move for work and have been going to the downtown LA one for a while now. The service is quick, the food tastes the same each time I go and you can’t beat the price! My favorite dish is the chicken curry bowl. And you have to get the garlic naan, so delicious!

This place offers cheap and very tasty indian food. I can tell that the indian food doesn’t taste very authentic and is more an “americanized” version. However, the flavors are still pretty tasty here and everything is under $10!

Mr owner, the food is great but the curry doesn’t taste like a curry. I was craving curry and i got chicken with some sauce.
