Food came quickly with plenty of refills! My server was Wonderful! Checking on my progress regularly and seemed genuinely concerned that she was doing all she could to make my visit as positive as possible. I came from a different hotel to eat there because the reviews were favorable. So I decided to try it myself and glad I did! Everything tasted Wonderful! The service was the icing on the cake. Keep up the Good work!

Everything was wonderful! We ordered wings, the teriyaki was a bit salty but the buffalo was perfect. Chicken Caesar salad, which was perfect, ribeye sandwich which was perfect, cheeseburger was pretty good and pizza which was good as well. We had a good serverbas well. Can’t go wrong with this place. Nice intimate dinner that was good at a pretty good price. Kids menu was good as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and the breakfast buffet for two mornings. Let me start with the dinner and I was planning to get steak and a salad, however, there were many glowing reviews about “Chicken Danielle.” I understand why that is a favorite because the chicken with dill sauce, rice pilaf and mixed vegetables were perfection! The buffet for breakfast had a good variety and freshly prepared for both days! The service from the staff and the view of the lake were great also! I will return!

I ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were sitting on top of the grits, grilled, seasoned and yummy. They were the only items in the dish that tasted good. Some kind of weird red sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms and A Lot of bacon!? Just wasn’t good. My son got chicken alfredo. The sauce was very thin and didn’t have any flavor. The chicken, where it was seared, tasted burnt. We definitely will not go back. $50+ for two dishes that were not worth eating.

We used this restaurant for the breakfast only & it was DELICIOUS! Very prompt service & everything was prepared perfectly, especially the pancakes. It was very convenient to have a great breakfast on premises. The restaurant also looks like a great place for drinks or supper because whenever we walked by in the evening the patrons were all having a good time. Now I wish we would have stopped in for drinks. Great job!

Great evening with decent food for a hotel bar and grill. If you don’t want to run around the area to find the best of the best the piney point bar and grill is a great option for a hotel bar and restaurant. With friendly staff good drinks and food it’s hard to beat when you just want to stay close to where you lay your head down at night.

Excellent food. 4 stars for the price. I noticed that a few people have stated here that the restaurant was a little unkempt. Not at all did I see any thing dirty or out of place. The service was absolutely GREAT. But like I said, a little too pricey.

I’ve eaten here a few times on my stays at the DoubleTree hotel. The bar staff are friendly and the food is of great quality however they can soon become overwhelmed when the numbers get beyond 10 to 15 people. The selection of beers on tap needs to be improved and they should reconsider placing a massive tent outside the only windows to the bar blocking what otherwise would be a fantastic view of the lake.
