The food is super tasty and they have a decently large menu, BYOB, the salsa is spicy and they have some variety with the salsas to eat with the chips. The live karaoke keeps the place fun and lively and it’s open 24 hrs so you can stop by any time for food. The horchata is also fire.

Found another diamond in the rough only a couple blocks away from my reload. It started with chips in a basket with 2 salsas and picked carrots and jalapenos in a third dish. Followed by a type of chicken soup and the main course was Huarache with steak.

Menudo was good, but a bit bland, adding the hot sause solved the problem for me, but it wouldnt be the same for everyone. I would fix the entre before the sauce. Also they need better take out containers for their hot food!. Service was ok but slow for some menudo, which would just be scooped up into a container. The decorations are a bit overkill and congested. I only saw 2 small groups and an abundance of chairs and tables. Im not sure if it gets as busy as that, but I havent been there for their busy times. If not needed id remove some. Overall it was a good experience!

This place has a magnificent menu with a great wait staff. Please keep in mind that this restaurant is family owned and operated. With that being said, you never feel like a customer. There is a very home-y atmosphere with a somewhat Old world decor. When seated, you feel like you’re at grandma’s house and are about to have a meal with the family you grew up with. Anything you order is bound to be a form of comfort food. And the prices are extremely reasonable. Now, should you be in the area and feel like awesome little corner cafe…. Do yourself a favor and have a cup of coffee after your meal. My server told me it was Mamma’s secret recipe… I almost had a 3rd cup.
