Came in with 2 friends and my daughter. Waitress was incredibly sweet to my little one. However, we did order blueberry pancakes and they forgot it but not on the bill. One of my friends said they probably didn’t here me, but it was on the bill. So just a bit disappointed in that, food overall was good.

Stopped in while visiting from Omaha. Old fashioned breakfast place with good prices and decent service. Half of the tables were reserved on a Saturday morning. Husker B&G special and french toast were pretty good but nothing special.

Perfect! Amazing service from “the ladies”. Our breakfast was perfectly cooked, the sausages were crispy on the outside, tender in the middle, perfect!! A lovely stop in Nebraska City!!!!! The pricing is beyond reasonable!!!!

Lovely local place with plentiful and decent food. Many patrons seemed to be recognized as regulars on a Sunday morning. Seating was efficiently handled. Street parking was not plentiful but only a short walk was required. Coffee was good and endless.

What a great experience dining at the Downtowner! Our waitress was awesome! We had a group of 12 & she got drinks promptly. She put the orders on 2 tickets & the food was out of the kitchen & served very quickly. Tasted great! If you get the chance to try them, it’s well worth it!
