This was my first time trying Arabic food and I have to say, I was not disappointed. The owner and his son were extremely kind, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was clean and relaxing. I had falafel, hummus with shawarma, and kunafah for dessert. Absolutely delicious!

I moved to buffalo from Dearborn, MI where most of the Arabs in America reside. I have been surrounded by authentic, clean, delicious middle eastern food my whole life. When I moved here, I yearned to look for a place that reminded me of back home. Most places I went to were simply not representative of real middle eastern food. However, Al Qimma exceeded my expectations. The food was exquisitely superb, the owners and employees were amazingly hospitable, and the atmosphere was comforting and warm. I enjoyed Al Qimma so much that I decided to take 7 of my American friends from school, who have never had authentic middle eastern cuisine. They were so happy and enjoyed the food and service so much, that they ask me all the time “when are we going back?!” I will be back very soon with my friends, and hopefully with new people as well.

Was recommended by a friend to come try and this place did not disappoint! Family owned and relocated from NYC this food was incredible. The family who own the restaurant were very warm and inviting. Authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine. Big portions with lots of flavor. Definitely save room for their baklava as dessert. You will have lots of food to take home with you as well.

Buffalo Halal Foodie
Mixed grill family platter it says its good for 6-7 people and price was 129 dollar. It wasn’t enough for 6 of us. We had to order extra rice which was $8 dollars more and large fries which didn’t even seem like large. I have been there a few times and liked their food but I am very disappointed with the portion size of this platter! It wasn’t worth the price! Total of $168 dollar spent still didn’t feel satisfied. Very small portion size and misleading pictures of food for family platter for the money compared with other middle eastern restaurants around WNY. Misleading menu if it said 3-4 people instead of 6-7 people then I could understand and order accordingly!
