Copper River is our “go to” restaurant. We live south of the River and until Copper River opened we didn’t have a place we really felt was outstanding. There are a few other places in the area that are alright, but if you want truly great food, great service, and pleasant surroundings, this is the place for you. The crab cakes are fantastic and calamari is very good as well. I have had the blackened swordfish and a few of the salmon dishes and I have never been disappointed. We went there for my father’s 80th birthday with eighteen people and everything went extremely well and everyone enjoyed their food. I would highly recommend Copper River to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Absolutely delicious! Wonderful food, desserts, and a decent drink selection. Not cheap, but about in line with this level of restaurant. I’ve been there twice with my wife and we’ll definitely go again in the future.

My family and I have eaten here several times now and are in love with the scallops, pita bread& hummus, fish and chips, salmon, and margaritas. Every time we visit the service is great, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is something to speak about. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We ate there for a valentine’s dinner and we were very disappointed. My husband had the scallops and I ordered the braised short ribs. Scallops were salty, but good, but the leeks were minimal and a pile of mush. The braised short ribs were supposed to be “worth the wait” as our order took forever, but it was like eating beef jerky with lots and lots and lots of salt! The server even commented that he thought the kitchen “lost our ticket”. Needless to say it was most definetly NOT “worth the wait.” So disappointng….we are already short on good restaurants south of the cities.

We dined here last night with friends. All four of us couldn’t stop talking about our meals and all agrees this is easily and by far the best choice for seafood and steak South of the River. The crab-stuffed salmon is still being talked about this morning; the Ahi tuna with pear and pancetta is out of this world and the steak and service were raved about as well. We frequent Porterhouse, Sul Lago and the like and though all are good, none compare to the quality of food and attention to detail found here. Like others my husband and I had visited the location when it was under different names and ownership. Copper River Fish and Chop House is an entirely different place; truly wonderful and worth the drive from anywhere in the metro.

Quickly becoming a favorite. I’ve eaten here for dinner and visited the patio for Happy Hour. Enjoyable either way – excellent cocktails, first-rate service and appetizers that are a cut above anywhere else South of the River.

Food was well presented. Blue Crab Salad was delicious. The Salmon BLT was very good except the bun was horrible. Tasted freezer burnt. Excellent Service.

The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. We eat out a lot and have been to hundreds of restaurants, this is one of the best. Hats off to the chef and staff.

Really flavorful food. The mahi tasted great. Wait staff was very friendly and there is a pretty nice patio with fire pit out back.
