It’s a very nice restaurant inside the Lodge at Hueston Woods. The food is delicious served by nice staff. The prices are reasonable and you don’t have to staying in site to eat there.

We new the storm was coming but the power outage was a bit of a surprise. That being said IT TOOK AN HOUR AND A HALF to get extra blankets it should not have taken that long to he boys were scared wouldn’t let me leave them so my Mom had to find her way to the front desk and request blankets. Other than that great food and service always our favorite place to be around the holidays enjoying the pool good food and family. We will be back and looking forward to it.

Terrible experience. Slow service, an overwhelmed waitress, and dry brisket made this a night to forget. We came into the dining room at 640pm and finally left at 835pm. Our waitress was scarce, not attending to our table with her having to cover the rest of the tables in the room. The brisket ( a known great dish) was very dry, to the point of beef jerky. The mashed potatoes were off-tasting. But to be fair, the pickle chips, the soft pretzels with beer cheese and the french onion soup were great. It was like a time zone flip or something. Something was off about the experience. Really was disappointing. We eat there every other month and have never had a bad night – until tonight.

We had been camping at Housted Woods and decided our last night to head to the lodge and try the restaurant. The experience was quite disappointing. For appetizers, we had mozzarella sticks, which were about as good as any chain restaurant, and pretzel sticks with beer cheese, which was quite good. Oddly, they didn’t provide any plates until we asked.

We just had breakfast here and it was such a pleasure. The prices were some of the most reasonable I’ve ever seen for such generous portions. The surface was prompt and friendly and attentive. For dinner time I highly recommend the pizza. Once again a very reasonable price and so delicious.

We had so much fun when we ate here. The staff is great. We inhaled the food. It was delicious. The atmosphere is fun, the building beautiful, and the view of the lake was gorgeous.

My husband and I both ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steaks were so chewy and hard to cut through, the potatoes tasted like instant, and the broccoli was so overcooked. We made reservations and were seated immediately, but waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. That wouldn’t be an issue if the food would have been amazing. We go to Hueston Woods a few times a year and will stick with the pizza.
