On a tranquil Wednesday evening, around 5:30, we found ourselves at the doorstep of, what appears to be a locally owned eatery, Panino’s. The ambiance was hushed and relaxed initially, but as the evening unfolded towards 6:30, the place started buzzing with energy.

We like Panino’s. Been coming to Panino’s for over 20 years. Used to frequent the Roseville location and now we are making the hike out to North Oaks once in a while. My absolute favorite is the Spaghetti Pie. It’s thick, cheesy and packed with flavor from the tomato sauce and the meat balls.

I have nothing bad to say. Amy was my waitress. It was my 1st time to the place. Hands down the best service I’ve ever had. I liked the food so much I went back 2 days later. She waited on me again. She remembered the entire order from my previous visit very genuine & real. Do yourself a favor tip these employees big.

Panino’s food is fresh and so so good! It isn’t as affordable as it used to be (but what is?). However, the portion sizes are very large and the service is great. I always have leftovers to bring home.

I’ve been enjoying the Buffo Chicken Panino for YEARS, it never disappoints. Last night a nasty storm came through the city and the restaurant lost power. While this is a stressful situation, the staff did an amazing job of communicating the situation, making sure we were comfortable, and going above and beyond while we finished our meal. Great leadership, excellent food, fabulous customer service. Well done team.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is delicious! We mentioned that we were there celebrating my father’s 81st birthday, and our server came out with this HUGE piece of the most yummy ice cream cake that I have ever had. Great service along with great food!

Party of 5 (3 adults and two children) went here for a late lunch today. As we were heading into the restaurant several people were coming out and told us “good luck getting service”. We should have listened! It took over an hour to get our food and when it came it was terrible quality! Both Panino sandwiches were dried out as though they’d been under the heat lamps for a long time. The salad my friend ordered didn’t match the menu description. The Sprite had no flavor, like the syrup had run out on the soda fountain. The restaurant was not crowded and their appeared to be plenty of staff on shift. That being said we barely saw our waitress in the almost TWO hours we were there. We will not be going back.

Sad to say the food was not good at all. Quality and quantity has deteriorated tremendously since last summer. Both pizzas we ordered had very little cheese and were burned so bad we could only eat the middle of one of them. My spaghetti pie was one large chunk of burned dough with very little ingredients. I through most of it away. The salads were mostly lettuce. We will not be back after more than 20 years of loyalty. Sad!

Really great sandwiches (paninos)! While you can get some of the more classic Italian entrees here the menu is definitely panino focused. And they are wonderful! Still, as I’ve explained in other reviews, it wouldn’t seem fair to the five star restaurants to give five stars to every place that was really good. This is definitely a place that i struggled to rate because i really did enjoy it! It was perfect for a quick bite and the patio outside was especially enjoyable. Or waitress was really friendly and knew the whole menu without looking. Yes, even the drink menu including the difference beers they had on hand! 4 and 1/2 stars you should give it a try if you haven’t already! If you have, it’s a good time to go again!

I have been eating at Panino’s for many, many years but lately the service and inconsistency of the food makes me want to never go back. Today took the cake. We ordered breadsticks (not panino fries), and shortly after the server came over to tell us that our Panino fries would be up shortly, we quickly corrected him and said we wanted the breadsticks, not Panino fries. He realized his mistake and said he would change it immediately, and we thought nothing of it. About 20 minutes goes by and a different waitress comes out with an order of Panino fries to which we said no we wanted the breadsticks and she assured us that they were in the oven and they would be up shortly, well another 10 minutes goes by and our main course comes out, and still at this point no breadsticks… 40 minutes into our dining experience!! The server said he will comp this, but offered to bring out the breadsticks for us to enjoy to which we replied, sure, but we are not going to pay for these because they intended to be an appetizer. During the course of our meal never once did they ever bring out the breadsticks. The coleslaw that my husband had as a side was rancid, and this was not the first time it tasted like that. My Panino was made incorrectly, I asked for extra Buffalo sauce and a side of blue cheese and they put NO Buffalo inside and instead put a TON of ranch dressing inside. For the price you pay, and the mediocrity of the food I would say this place would be lucky to stay open another year! They need a major change and PLEASE stop letting teenage kids run your business!
