They can’t seem to get an order right, or even get an order done in a timely manner. And, of course, the phone number listed for them , isn’t theirs and has Nothing to do with them, so if you have complaints you’re SOL. When they first opened, they did great but have went downhill fast since. Most of the workers are pleasant but some are not. Don’t waste your money going to This chicken express in Haslet, go to the one in Saginaw or somewhere else. Since the one in Decatur is supposed to be owned by the same person, I don’t know if it would be any better or not. Good luck if you go there.

Waited 17 minutes in the drive though for 2 #1 meals and a regular side of okra. They forgot my okra and I had to go inside to retrieve it, then we get home and our chicken strips are the size of fried shrimp. This is definitely not 28$ worth of food, very disappointing! We also ordered a box of 4 extra rolls and only received 3

This place is terrible I ordered a 12 peice mixed and received 10 pieces and no breast meat subbed for chicken wings also didn’t receive gravy with mashed potatoes. On top of that I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring my food out to me witch would have been fine if I was told this before I had already ordered and paid so I could make a decision if I wanted to wait or not. Overall not happy as there wasn’t enough food for my family because they shorted me two pieces and I didn’t get the larger pieces that I had paid for.

I ordered my food, $86 worth, and was asked to pull forward as it would take extra time, which is fine, however I waited 30 minutes and didn’t receive all that I ordered. They went in to retrieve 4 missing sides, and brought out 3, so I had to wait another 15 minutes for the one side of okra. Of course, I got attitude from the employee because I asked for them to please wait while I checked the food to be sure I had everything before I left.

If your door says you close at 10 stop locking the doors at 9. Nothing anywhere says “lobby closes at 9”. Just looks like a bunch of kids trying to go home right at closing time. Also the service and food sucks. Like others have said: it used to be good.

Second visit to this location. Terrible experience twice.the gravy is water both times, tenders are over cooked and tiny, didn’t put all the tenders in the box. The lady in the drive through window today 1.20.2023 was extremely rude and argued with me over the speaker on what I ordered. When everyone in the car agreed she was in the wrong and I spoke clearly. Corporate needs a visit to this location.

I love Chicken Express but this location is the worst. They don’t have daily lunch specials and it seems like the chicken I get all the time is grizzly and small. The one on beach and North Tarrant parkway blows this one away. It’s actually worth the drive even though this one is only 2 miles from my house. Do better.

Order a #1 with spicy tenders and okra as well as corn nuggets and mini poppers. The tenders were very small, old and not warm. The sides were pretty skimpy. Barely got any okra or the other sides. Will not be returning.
