This place was recommended to me by my neighbor and it was awesome! I had the Braised Chianti Short Rib with Carrots and Parmesan Herb Risotto. It was so delicious, the meat was so tender I didn’t even need a knife to cut it. The Risotto had great flavor and was really creamy. The Carrots were cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch to them on every bite. I paid a few more dollars for extra sauce and I highly recommend doing that. I will definitely be back here to try more dishes!

We had the oysters as an appetizer, the chef special salmon with horseradish sauce, the fettuccini chicken with vodka sauce and goat cheese, the nonas polenta side, sangrias AND the chocolate mousse cake. All were absolutely delicious, tasted fresh and home made. Best restaurant in Channahon, hands down. Service was quick, knowledgeable andfriendly. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for an amazing evening.

This was our first time eating at Pesciolino. We came in for diner on Saturday. Our server was wonderful and very helpful. Grilled calamari for appetizer was delicious and preferred it to most fried versions I’ve had. The pickled peppers were a very nice touch. Chicken Marsala was tender and the flavors especially with the figs were amazing. The Gnocchi shrimp and lobster chef special was delicious as well. Hands down best place I’ve eaten around this area.

Every element of our meals was perfection. The freshest seafood I have had in years. The lamb was melt in your mouth goodness. Perfect carrot bisque and the house salad stood alone as just another enjoyable and absolutely amazing dinner. The martini my wife chose was also fresh not a mix. The service was just as elegant as the food. I cannot say enough about this place and I and my wife will be working are way though the menu hopefully for years to come.

We have been looking to eat from Pesciolino for a long time and yesterday finally we gave the restaurant a try. For starters we had Spanakopita and Crab Cakes Italiano. Spanakopita is like a Spinach pie but taste better. It’s Spinach and feta cheese between crispy phyllo pastry we liked it a lot. Crab cake is definitely overpriced since it is $19 for one piece of crab cake so we won’t order that again. For the main dish we had Chicken Marsala, Chicken Pesto Parmesan and their special Salmon dish. I must say I would definitely return to this authentic restaurant for more Chicken Marsala. My daughter ordered that and I only tried a bit. After trying her food I really wanted to switch plates All the side dishes we chose were amazingly delicious but i highly recommend the home made mash potato and mixed veggies. I give Stars for combination of service, taste of the food and the ambiance of the restaurant but this time I am giving all 5 stars due to the taste of the food which is most important!! Service part was pretty slow unfortunately.

Fantastic food matched with excellent service. Came here with a big work party for an early opening and everything was delicious. The 8oz filet over a bed of mashed potatoes is fabulous. Don’t forget to try the tiramisu, highly recommend. Thank you Pesciolino Osteria team.
