Fantastic location on the waterfront in Sandpoint in the bridge ,and having eaten Shushi in places like San Francisco and other Cities I am serously suprised with how excellent the flavor spice and presentation. Even the ginger was totaly natural and wasbi too.

Finally wanted to try sushi out and decided to go here. Sushi wasn’t bad but my issue was the dirty glass and hair on the sushi tray that my mother got( which was probably from the waitress). The waitress was nice but only came over to get the order, deliver the food and then to take care of payment which is when she asked how we liked it. Could have come by while eating to see if everything was okay. Wasn’t packed (only a couple was there).Customer service could use a little help.

Everything was awful except the location. Sloppy, poor quality sushi. My son found a bone in his tuna sashimi. The service was terrible. We were given cucumber water that was never refilled and not offered any other beverages at all. Not checked on once during the entire meal and there was only 1 other table full. Bill was $275 for our family of 5 (3 kids). Took over 20 minutes for them to process our credit card because they couldn’t get their payment machine to work. AVOID.

Amazing sushi. The chief is a culinary artist. The edamame has this addictive seasonings which makes you want to lick the bowl. The plum wine sake is delightful. Everything used is fresh. So it’s the best quality. A must try!

Have to be honest about this one… $5 for bland miso soup is a bit steep. It had little flavour and came in a very small bowl. The California roll we ordered said it was real crab however I suspect it was imitation and for $10 I thought it would be a little larger. And the pho I had was bland and had very very little meat. Two stars for the poor food but excellent service.

Haven’t had this good of sushi since Los Angeles. Would recommend chef choice to allow for the best of all flavors. Fresh and delicious.

I could literally go on about this place for days. Best fish quality in sandpoint hands down! And the flavor combinations of the sushi are things that will make you wake up in the middle of the night feinding for more! I have eaten sushi all over and this place blows them all out of the water! Never before have I experienced combinations of flavors that could be strong yet not overwhelming, complex yet simple enough to comprehend, and so baited without competing with each other. I eat here every chance I get! Also if you want to know anything about the origins of the fish and the differences between them Junior (the owner/chef) will happily teach you! Education and a meal. Also with a discount for sandpoint locals. What’s to lose?!

easily the best sushi in Sandpoint. Junior makes incredible sushi that is actually unique in a style of cuisine where everyone copies everyone else. His flavors are well developed and original. do yourself a favor and visit kyoko Sushi in the cedar bridge mall.

Had a good experience here. The sushi was fresh and tasty. I was delighted to find a mix of quality classics and refreshing innovations on the same menu.
