We have been to several different Chinese restaurants and this was by far the worst. Moo Goo smelled rotten when brought to table and was not edible. Cook came out and harassed us about us being the only one to complain. My boyfriend will usually eat anything and he couldn’t one bite and we both spit it out. Egg roll was edible but the sweet and sour sauce was nasty…it wasn’t your usual sweet and sour…it’s like they added flour or something to it… would never eat hear again….ever…they did not charge us for Moo goo…

So hopefully I will be able to change this review but my family and I will be going elsewhere for Chinese food. Today, had the misfortune of having a horrible experience. My mother and I decided to treat ourselves to Starlight, which normally we have a wonderful experience because we only order our usual which is the; chicken chow mein, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, beef broccoli, and fried chicken. Today I am congested so decided something spicy like the szechwan Chicken to get some heat to clear my sinuses, so it was my first time ever ordering this. I was at work so my mother dropped it off so I was excited for lunch. So first I thought they got my order mixed up because it was in sweet and sour sauce with mixed vegetables… it smells so sweet as well. So I called to inform that they mixed up the order but was informed that it was their szechwan Chicken. I informed that I was not happy with it and if there is a way a discount can be made or our next order can have discount (we did order there a lot, but now I don’t know.) The acting manager was so rude… I understand some customers are not respectful, I get it because I have been in customer service and have had thing thrown at me and been yelled at but this customer service was just a huge disappointment and more so because I am a local and my family orders here a lot and have been. I remember eating there as a little girl. So with this gentleman’s attitude being rude, non-negotiable, and “too busy” to find a solution. So if you decide to eat here be wary and ask questions of how the dish is made because “they make theirs differently and they don’t know what else to tell you” (yes, that was their quote.) But from my experience the safest would be what I listed earlier in my review and then ask questions.

Wow when you ask for spicy. They hit the mark!!. And the soy sauce is the right kind like the one for little China in San Francisco. I highly recommend this place YuMmY!!.

The food in this restaurant is worse in my entire trip so far. More specific, I ordered Cantonese styled Beef Cao Fun. The beef was cold, the fun was unfreshed and dry. It looks like just half size to me.

Worst Chinese food I had so far, the student chef even made better food than this restaurant! All those food are homemade food level, how can you mess up that? I can cook 10 times better than that! Mongolia Beef way too salty and over cooked! Beef chowfoon, don’t even order it! The most simple dish in the middle, I cooked it when I was 7 years old, even tasted better than that.

Terrible food. Chinese food? What a joke! There isn’t a single person in the whole restaurant that can speak a word of Chinese! They also charge for rice, which no one does! There was hair inside the dish, and the Kong Bao Chicken was not Kong Bao Chicken! Even an 11 year old can cook better than this. The chef even accused us of putting the hair inside the dish! Completely unacceptable!

I got the Moo Goo Gai Pan, and my wife got a House Chow Mein with shrimp. It is so delicious. We love the fresh veggies and tea. We got a side of the Chinese chili. It is perfect. My wife doesn’t eat chili but will eat the chili here. She loves the garlicky taste. Service is always quick. We are regulars and love everything on the menu. The only place with a Hamburger steak and real Halibut steak too. We are always satisfied with our visit.
