Coney Island is definitely worth the stop! After a weekend in Tampa getting engaged and getting to see The Smashing Pumpkins we were looking for something good and quick to eat on our way home to South Georgia. I have been by Coney Island Drive In more times than i can count but never got to stop. We had a long with coney sauce, cheese and onions, a short slaw dog and poutine. It was definitely worth the hype! The fun/quirky atmosphere, welcoming staff and great food was worth the stop!

Cool nostalgic place, different types of hot dogs, the Chicago dog was done properly. Many types to try so next time up that way, ill try some other dogs. If you’re in the area, worth checking out.

Loved the inside eating area. Service was good. Turns a good business. Dogs were ok. Had texture and flavor of boiled wieners. Fish and onion rings seemed to be pre-breaded. Taco salad lacked taco seasoning. But all in all, it was ok.

Before I begin with my review of the food. I shall say this. Coney Island Drive Inn is lacking in their customer service. I can only surmise the employees presume everyone is local. This, for me, however, is not the case. Far from it in fact.

This place is awesome. It’s a kinda throwback to the 60s and is a throwback to Coney island. Being from NJ it was very amazing. The atmosphere is very friendly. The service is good and the food is excellent. You can get beer here also. We had the hot dog with chili and onions. FF with cheese. Homemade lemonade. Cost little under , $10. Great place to visit to eat. They also have ice cream next door.
